It is so encouraging that everyone is the downward trend...

The medical community really has a long way to go to get on the same page with what works for people! I am glad that some are realizing that low fat high carb does not work for everyone or most... Atkins really did start a revolution with low carb, high protein and fat. Now other doctors are coming on board like Johnson (JUDD). I've been following Terry Wahls M.D. as well and she is another supporter of paleo diet-low carb, high fat and protein so there maybe light at the end of the tunnel...

Oh well, in the Grand Scheme Of Things, it's a mere trifle.

Started Steak & Eggs Diet (6 days of only eating steak and eggs and then 1 day high carbs) for 4 weeks
3/8 - 197, 2799 (2g carbs), 80 minutes of weight lifting and a 5.54 mile walk
3/9 - 196.8, 2205 (2g carbs), rest day
3/10 - 196.8, 2539 (3g carbs), 60 minutes of weight lifting
3/11 - 196.4, 1963 (0g carbs), rest day
3/12 - 195.2, 2498 (0g carbs), 60 minutes of weight lifting
3/13 - 197, 2155 (0g carbs), rest day
3/14 - 196, 2800 planned, weight lifting planned for later

So for the last 7 days I will have consumed just over 5 dozen eggs, 9 pounds of steak/ground beef, 21 tbsp of butter, 14 tbsp of CO/MCT, 7 tbsp of avocado oil. I had some HWC earlier but stopped that to be mostly dairy free, except for butter. Feeling pretty good so far, the only issue is that "significant" bathroom visits have been few and far between. TMI but I have not actually visited for a sit down since Monday, but I don't have any discomfort so who knows. Tomorrow is a carb re-feed day and I have a social gathering that will be pizza and some sort of carby dessert so I will be incorporating those into the re-feed even though they are off plan, prior to that I will be having a bunch of fruit in the morning and lunch at the Cheesecake factory and I'll be having the giant cobb salad and will share a piece of cheesecake. Then Sunday will be back to steak and eggs for 6 days. The next re-feed will be considerably more Paleo with white rice, sushi, and sweet potato.

Flossyliz - - thanks, it gives me something to do while I wait for the scale... I am trying to do this as well==>timing my 'no eating time' or DD. I typically will try to get my DD to be around 36 hrs. Today I stretched it to 38 to see if I see a change... It does help that part of this time is sleeping....

Jumping in - home from my February trip to AZ to escape the cold Northeast.

March 7 - 164 - DD ( I'm going to ease back into EOD - fingers crossed)
March 8 - 162 - UD (I did well yesterday - distractions are a GOOD thing!)
March 9 - 163 - DD (Had grandkids over yesterday - made some good choices, but no idea how many calories)
March 10 - 161 - UD (Under 400 calories yesterday and bouncing in the right direction - all is well!)
March 11 - 161.5 DD (Have decided not to count and write down UD calories for this month - will see how well I do in making good choices and portions)
March 12 - 159 UD (I just LOVE JUDDD - cannot believe how easily I transitioned back after a month vacation.)
March 13 - 160 DD - (Just feeling content today - the JUDDD magic... ahhhh)
March 14 - 163 DD - (Yesterday can be summed up in one FOUR LETTER WORK - CAKE!) Oh what a difference a day can make. One day magic - the next day...


New goal - 155 - expect it will take at least 2 months, but I'm ready!
