Even with my higher UDs lately, my daily average over the last 8 days has been around 1350. BMR is close to 1500. I should be losing or maintaining. Ugh.
It's water weight. Don't beat yourself up... though I know that's easier said than done. Have you tried any of the water weight busting tricks? ACV in water? I remember seeing asparagus on a DD menu, so that's par for the course.

Thanks, Green. I think some of it's water, but it's annoying that it's not going down. I drink around a gallon or more of water every day and regularly eat asparagus. DH offered me a water pill yesterday, but I didn't take it. I already have low BP, so I didn't want to risk it.

Dawn, with all the spotting you’ve been getting, I’d suspect that as a factor. Doubly annoying! I hope it stops soon and takes all that excess water with it!

I was able to donate plasma yesterday for the first time ever. The initial interview/physical was pretty invasive (and loooong) but I am happy to be able to help. Unlike whole blood donation, they PAY you (the plasma is for pharmaceutical development, not for emergency use).

But I found out that it really depletes your body. So I had to eat a lot more than I ordinarily would on a DownDay to replenish my protein, because I don't want to lose muscle tissue. I ate two additional eggs and several Weight Watchers cheese sticks. And still lost weight!

Here are the stats of the plasma they take out of you:

110 lbs - 149 lbs
690 ml Plasma:
483.69 calories
Protein 49.51 g
Carbohydrates 63.65 g
Fat 3.45 g

Hah! I have found my new weight loss plan! lol/jk
Donate twice a week and it's like burning almost 1000 extra calories. Plus $$$.

New low, nikki! Is Plasma giving, energy wise, draining? Just curious, I wouldn't as I can barely tolerate my yearly blood tests!

Yes I was a little weak afterward, but it wasn't too bad. I was able to drive myself home where I just ate a bit of protein, took an hour nap, and and I was fine.

Jumping in - home from my February trip to AZ to escape the cold Northeast.

March 7 - 164 - DD ( I'm going to ease back into EOD - fingers crossed)
March 8 - 162 - UD (I did well yesterday - distractions are a GOOD thing!)
March 9 - 163 - DD (Had grandkids over yesterday - made some good choices, but no idea how many calories)
March 10 - 161 - UD (Under 400 calories yesterday and bouncing in the right direction - all is well!)
March 11 - 161.5 DD (Have decided not to count and write down UD calories for this month - will see how well I do in making good choices and portions)
March 12 - 159 UD (I just LOVE JUDDD - cannot believe how easily I transitioned back after a month vacation.)


New goal - 155 - expect it will take at least 2 months, but I'm ready!

Down .7 today(alternate day weigh in), I am doing JUDD with staying within 5 gr of carbs on UD and DD...
I was at a stall for a week and trying this method, so far it works...
Calories DD are around 340 UD around 1300
Carbs DD 11gr carbs UD 14gr - carbs count for me...

Your UD looks very light at 1300kcals. Are you low cal as well as low carb?

Please don't Ugh. You're down on where you started and you came to it from HCG which normally leads to all sorts of bounces and fluctuations, from my passing observations of others who've done it. This will regularise but please don't over-restrict your UDs as you may well need them to set you up for a good DD and to settle into a good rhythm with your rotations.

Dec 2014 A DXA scan reported very low muscle mass (sarcopenia) so I'm still thinking about how to cope with that. I have some joint surgery to schedule. I may miss questions that people ask me or personals. Apologies if I do, it's not intentional.
