UD Monday - getting the week in gear!
What's on tap for your week? I'm thinking of making a mushroom risotto today. I've never made one before :)
B: trying to wait for lunch. Might go out and get a skinny latte?
vitamins-- I took a few weeks off b/c I was feeling tired, and that can happen with vitamin overload.
L: not sure. Im thinking maybe a tuna melt?
D: mushroom risotto and pork chops I think
B: Coffee, egg, ham
L: Minestrone, Texas toast
S: Coffee, oatmeal, NPB
D: Something with either ground beef or ground turkey... the only things left in the freezer. Time to go grocery shopping!
I don't know yet.
I went to bed so hungry last night, but it felt good to know I had a good DD.
Now, of course, I'm not too hungry.
I will post when I have a clue.
My favorite way to have oatmeal is with a banana sliced up in it. Really a HUGE pick me up in the afternoon at work.
But bananas can get expensive in the Michigan tundra during the winter! Plus, they don't last as long in the fridge as the NPB does in the cupboard! LOL So NPB it is!
I also like to dip a sliced (golden delicious) apple in NPB. YUMMY!

L: 2 cans tuna with ranch dressing
D: Vodka gimlet, taco salad
There's around 400 calories still in play, so maybe some......PB!

S - quest bar 160c
L - salad and sausage 210c
D - steak, potato (I am not a fan of potato, so maybe I will make Linda Sue's loaded potato using cauli, now that I love)!
1900c the goal I have 1250 for use after work. I am certain I will use it!
B: coffee; oatmeal with an egg poached in it; orange juice
L: was a chick-fil-a cup of chicken salad, 4 saltine crackers and one of their fruit cups
S: cadbury creme egg :laugh:
D: small steak; salad w/Italian dressing; sliced tomatoes

So I can say I'm at 2219 calories, which is 1% over my upper limit. Not too bad.
Dinner was my first attempt at mushroom risotto. A bit of time put in, but very happy with the results. maybe not on a Monday again, but definitely on a weekend! It wasn't that hard!
re: meat. I bought a whole pork sirloin for a good price, so I cut today's chops from the loin end, then chunked the rest, and threw it in the crockpot with liquid smoke and some bbq rub-- will have pulled pork for, um, the day AFTER tomorrow ;)
