DD Monday menus!

I don't know why, but I really like having a DD on a Monday

B: just black coffee
L: tilapia simmered w/crushed tomatoes and chopped green olives over steamed spinach with a side of riced cauliflower quick pan fried with a spritz of Pam (205 cals)
D: veggie noodle soup (chicken broth, .5oz brown rice pasta, celery, carrot, green onion) (117 cals)

322 cals total, so some wiggle room if I want to make some low-carb pita "chips" or something

Coffee and tea until dinner.
Either chicken with Swiss chard, or egg white veggie omelet (230)
Yogurt with cocoa powder, berries, and stevia (120)

Total of 350.
Back to my first DD since last week. This weekend was difficult to stay on rotations. Lots of social eating plus vday... I'm excited about today!

Great DD recipes today

b: DD crepes (100) with Walden Farms Chocolate Peanut butter spread and Nature's Hollow raspberry jam (20 cals per T)
l: Beeb's idea for soup with tweak: 1 cup TJ's beef broth (20) with 1 cup chopped cabbage, 1/4 cup diced mushrooms, hot sauce, vinegar and sweetener. Whole shebang = 50 cals plus one of Beeb's pumpkin pies (35 cals)
d:2 slices turkey (60) 1 wedge LC cheese (35) w/SF pickle relish (0) and a DD brownie (27) with WF caramel sauce. total for dinner = 122

Total for day: 327! who woulda thought this low amount of calories for this much filling food?

I donated blood today. A bag of chips was forcefully suggested to replace the sodium loss.

So:

Breakfast was plain tea.
Lunch was a mini bag of Lays sour cream and onion (160 cals of salt/junk)
Dinner is going to be more tea and maybe a salad or steamed veggies.


I hate eating on DDs. If I could have gotten by not eating those darn chips I would have had a zero calorie day. But now I'm starving. Boo!

Our local news reports a plea for blood donors every couple of days as supplies are low.

I had a good dd

Started with a workout. Then dh and I went for a drive up north. Wound up at a sporty bar BBQ place.

B:x
L:x
S: venti decaf coffee with some skim milk (20 cal?)
D: large green salad with grilled veggies and feta
Maybe 8oz brisket, side of green beans and some carrots.
Club soda with lime and Splenda.

Somewhere around 600+ for the day! but I feel good about it.

I ended up having a LC ice cream bar for 180 more calories!! I took some medicine and started feeling naseous (sp?), so I reached for something--looked at the cals after I ate it.
