Thanks, Nancy, Carly and JD! Cheering all of you on as well!

Starting with NEW UD/DD #'s (1538/308) to see if that makes a difference.
2/23 - 141 (DD) 550 (will keep trying for that elusive 308!!!
2/24 - 140 (UD)1463
2/25 - 140.4 (DD)

The best results seem to be when the spread between the DD and UD is as big as possible. 1463/550 is less than 1000 calories apart. Try to go up to 1538 and get as close to 308 as possible.

You can do it!

Haven't been able to be around as much lately, so just seeing this. Hang in there girl! It's a big change for the ole bod when you're getting started! I always tried to shoot for a higher UD and the lowest DD I could when in WLM. (but it was EASIER for me, as I'm one who gets hungrier when I eat anything) You sortof just have to try different things out and see what works best for you. You'll get it!!! Stick to your calculator numbers and go, go, go! You can do it!

Now, I'm wondering whether I am like you too, Melinda! This is my 2nd DD after resetting my mind to do things right, all inspired by Joannew's experiment and JB's advice! Hoping it'll go as well as the last DD!

We will do it together! Surely not 2 DDs in a row! My 2nd low DD didn't give me a whoosh either and I had the chicken bullion too! I had noticed this with bullion a while back! or maybe we should have it earlier in the day and then drink lots of water! Bullion made me hungry too

YES WE WILL! I notice that we are the same age and close to the same height!
oops! Today is an UD! It's difficult enough doing ONE DD let alone TWO!
That is a good idea...I did have the bouillon for supper so I'll try it earlier tomorrow.

JD & Joanne, you guys will prevail! Just keep going, you got it!!!

I will say, despite my getting hungrier as soon as I eat, that I HAVE noticed I can eat a bit more calorie wise (on a DD), if I eat at lunch time. My DDs that I fast all day and eat dinner are NOT good scale wise for me. (in fact, this just happened this morning, I fasted all day, had a 400 cal dinner and GAINED a pound this morning)

ANYHOO, live & learn, keep trying...it all works out in the end. Go, go, go girls!

My numbers are similar to yours, last time I tweaked and lost fabulously on 1700 UD, 600 DD, there is "wiggle room". Naturally you will probably lose quicker on your untweaked numbers though..

Becky, At the begining I was able to get away with higher DDs too (up to 500) but haven't seem much progress lately inspite of exercise, so I'm trying lower DDs.

Am I reading this right? Is this a 1.8 lb. loss for 19 days experimenting on JUDDD?
just wondering if I am following correctly cause I am always super interested when someone experiments on themselves I do it all the time with me.

At this point are you going to stay with JUDDD?

Hi Trigger828. I actually re-started on 2/23 after suggestions from other JB's to recalculate the #'s without factoring the exercise in. So I started at 141 on 2/23, and now I am at 137.6 as of today...so 3.4 #'s EVICTED (I hope!!!) in 6 days (if I counted right!) Yes, I will continue with JUDDD and low carb to see what happens!

yea I sure agree everyone has to choose what they want to eat in this life.

but I can say for sure that heavy junky carbs are not healthy. simple as that. I wish more people would truly consider a 'very' moderate carb count in their daily meals.

With that I totally agree. You will notice I was an Atkins babe for 10 years. But I have found that with JUDDD I can allow healthy carbs and the occasional indulgence into my life while maintaining and enjoying very good health.

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
One person's "heavy junky carb" is another person's "health food." It's all a matter of perspective, I suppose. I have also done low carb several times over the years and never lost any better or felt any healthier than I have with JUDDD, eating whatever I want.
