I really have been bad with the sweets since starting this WOE, (although staying within the calorie limit) and I am really feeling lousy because of it. Today, I had a "sugar hangover", woke up with a bad headache that is not going away. I feel so much better doing LC, and that was what I originally planned to do, but the sugar was calling my name...I should have turned a deaf ear to it!
Starting today, I am going to eliminate the sugar from my menu and stick to LC (20-50g) for the remainder of my "JUDDD experiment".

Thanks for the encouragement ladies. I really don't think I am cut out for JUDDD, as I am too "rebellious" to stick to the strict rotations. I believe I will just go back to counting calories.

I totalled up the calories for the last 10 days and I was averaging 1200 per day! A normal person would lose weight on that amount! (I guess that explains it, I'm FAR from normal!). I'm just really disappointed and frustrated on what to do. Is it my age? (60). I know I have a more diffcult time in the winter losing weight. I walk 2 miles and bike 2 miles every day (no biking on weekends). Do I have to cut the calories to less than 1000 to lose? Sure would appreciate any input on my dilema!

Your calories still seem high to me. I'd recommend using the calculator at 20% with no exercise factored in. I'm 41 years old, 145 pounds, and 5'9" and my numbers are about what yours are. Plus, you haven't been having good swings between UDs and DDs.

Thanks, Dawn. I re-calcuated the numbers, with no exercise and now they come out to 1538/308. I may give that a try.

Joannew, I am cheering you on and watching! We are similar in hgt and age but I am 14-15 lbs heavier than you! Calorie wise I've been doing the following numbers:

02/17 155.6 MUD 1344 Walked 10.46 Miles
02/18 156.2 UD 1713 DD turned into UD with evening snacking!
02/19 158.0 MUD 931
02/20 156.8 UD 1321 Walked 12.05 miles
02/21 156.0 DD 663 Walked 8.48 Miles
02/22 155.0 UD 1598 Walked 9.15 Miles
02/23 155.6 DD 601 Walked 12.25 Miles

My #s should be 1619/324 sedentary and 1855/371 with 1-3 day of exercise. So Dawn is right, I really do think lower DDs are the triggers for the loss. Unfortunately I can't seem to stick to my DD numbers! Best of luck to you and if you find a trick for DD restrains, let me know!

Thanks Pat, Carol, Grace and Shirl! With all of you behind me, how can I fail? All the JUDDD ladies are THE best!

I really want this to work, and I know that being prepared for those DDs is the key! I have ordered the Quest Bars to use on the DDs, too. I've heard others say that it keeps them full, so it's worth a try. Cooked up another pot of LC soup....chicken vegetable!
