The first down day when I went to bed semi hungry I wrote down what I wanted to eat the next day before I went to bed. I was actually not very hungry on my UD which made me kind of upset. haha
I still haven't had a successful DD, but I keep on trying, and that is what is important. Keeping track of what I am eating is helpful in general, even if I haven't been able to hit those numbers.

I am glad to know it gets easier after the first DD. I am going to attempt again on Wednesday!

I'll carry a thermos with chicken broth as I won't be home until 2.

I'm thinking a green pepper, baby carrots, and black olives platter with ranch along with the eggs.

I think that will bring me to about 600 - 700 cals.
This sounds like it could be a good plan.
When I started I weighed and measured out everything I was "allowed" for the day. I had a bag of celery sticks for 30 calories and some cucumber salad for 40 calories. 3oz of grilled Talapia. When it was eaten I was done. DDs do get easier as you get through a few of them. Just like anything new it takes some practice and some getting used to.
