The good news and the bad news and bad news...

The bad news...PF doesn't have a scale so I can't weigh in and find out how much I've lost so far at almost 3 weeks in doing JUDDD.

The good news is I took measurements to help me keep track of NSV's and I've lost 2 inches!!!

The bad news?
It's 2 inches off my boobs. :( I love my boobs and need to lose on my tummy not my chest! Oh well...

As for the scale I really don't mind. Eventually I'll buy one in the future for now I'm gonna just keep on doing what I've been doing. I tend to get a little emotional with the scale and let it ruin my day. Once many moons ago I dieted and exercised my way down from a size 18/20 to a 10/12 without stepping on the scale once... ;)

WTG!!:jumpjoy:

Unfortunately if it comes off in other places, it has to come off in other places. ;) That doesn't explain, however, why my butt remains perpetually unevenly large.:o:laugh:

I don't see any bad news, just good news...congrats!

I think you should try an experiment - to do this diet without a scale! Measurements are a much better way and mentally saner. Once you're happy with the way you look and ready to declare maintenance than weigh yourself. Too often we're fixated on a number on scale and think our problems will magically disappear once we reach this number and we'll be satisfied with our accomplishments. So try something different!

With or without a scale, that's fantastic progress!! :jumpjoy:

You are doing great! I salute you for staying the course without a scale. Don't know if I could do that! I never have been able to in the past. KUTGW!:jumpjoy:

!!! Yay BBABY!
Happy for you!
Scales ARE stupid anyway.

I agree, if you can do it without scales, so much the better! You're measuring, and that's so much better of a marker anyway. And 2 inches off is fantastic! Don't worry about losing it from your boobage, because the other areas will catch up, and you'll be so much better proportioned at that point. Besides, sometimes when we lose from the bust area, it's really armpit and back fat. Your "cups" may be retaining quite well. Mine have so far. :o

Hey Broadway-

I weigh in every two weeks at my dr. and use their scale which I like because it's reliable and consistent. It also keeps me accountable and it's considered a "nurse visit" so my insurance isn't billed. Free weigh ins! I don't know if that's an option or you but it works for me!

Congrats on the losses!

I sure wish I could lose 2 inches off my man boobs!

tangolover 02-07-2014 08:59 PM

Fantastic! Keep up the good work! No scale required.

Agreed! Especially because I KNOW how it can turn me into an emotional wreck! I have a few different size shorts that I will use in addition to my tape measure AND OF COURSE NSV's!!! ;)

LOL! Boobage! And that's true about the cups since I'm just taking the measuring tape and putting it around my whole chest/back area. Anyway I "FEEL" thinner! That's gotta count for something right? LOL!

You are doing just great! I'm impressed that you can do without the scale. That is a NSV!

(But what gym doesn't have scale )
