slept late-- didn't feel like getting up. Having another huge snow dump, but wasn't planning on going anywhere today anyway. Did some groceries yesterday, so I think we're set.

I woke up sick with the flu!

This 102 degree temp just makes me want to eat ice cream. These body aches and dry cough say Chinese take out.

I'm going to try and resist! I've been doing so good with zero calorie down days that I'm just afraid if I do cave and allow myself something like that I'll end up derailing all my progress.

Why can't I just get nauseated? That would help enormously.

Oh no, Sunshine-Icicles! Sorry you're feeling so bad. Hang in there, you can do it!

But also, just remember that your body may need some extra help right now, so eating a little may not be your worst strategy.

If I ate today, would I then have to DD tomorrow instead?

I've been doing so well on MWF down days and then having weekends open.

You can have calories on a DD-- I feel you on wanting to keep it at 0, but having up to 35% on a DD is still a DD in the loss-zone.
Check your calculator on the juddd site to see what your numbers are.

you could-- call today an UD and eat as you see fit, and do a DD tomorrow.

or keep it a DD, and you could still have soup, or some low cal ice milk, or whatever your calories allow.

last option-- eat as you see fit today, have a CONTROLLED UD tomorrow per your schedule, and keep going.

there's no "wrong" or "bad"... there is only what works or doesn't work for you... and we're all different

Hope you feel better soon! Most importantly-- LOTS OF FLUIDS and keep your electrolytes up. Water with some lemon and a pinch of salt is all that is needed really (per my Dr. when I stupidly let myself get dehydrated with stomach flu last year).

Oh so sorry for you! I've been whining because of my nasty chest cold, but you have the flu and a fever. Take care of yourself.

Don't worry too much about which day it is. Just listen to what your body needs and work on getting better.

You can have a higher DD, a MD or an UD and still have an UD tomorrow. Every now and then I've had two UDs in a row and then after the following DD (which seems so easy to get through because I'm fueled) I see a nice drop on the scale.

DD for me. It's 2 pm and I just started getting hunger rumbles. I'm going to eat a hard boiled egg white and some lemon water and see if that kills the ole appetite. Maybe will take an extra pterostilbene, 50 mg, and see if that helps.

B - coffee with half and half for 60
L - Water, iced tea
D - HB egg, maybe chobani yogurt with blueberries
Bedtime - chamomile tea, hot

So far so good - I'm struggling to get back on track after our trip, and focusing a lot on low-cal volume to get my appetite back under control.

B - BPC and BTF muffin
L - Bowl of shirataki veggie soup
D - Serving of tuna casserole made with mushrooms, green beans, shirataki fettucini and a little alfredo sauce.

Done for the day. Did pretty well!
Salmon and broccoli for dinner.

Box of raspberries and some walden farms marshmallow dip for dessert.

Low cal, low carb, satisfying.

No nighttime snacks. Cant wait for tomorrow though!
