Good job.
I remember to graduate high school gym class we girls had to do 10 push ups, was very tough then. Took several attempts. Mike can you do a hand stand.
I will do a hand stand someday.

2/02 21 km morning run. 1 hour of Badminton with my son.
2/03 full body weight training/ light weights only for lower body

2 Feb 1.5 hrs kayaking practice in swimming pool
3 Feb rest day but several sets of dips/leg raises while waiting for kettles to boil

I haven't tried a hand stand. I would like to be able to do a hand stand push-up at some point but just like pull-ups previously I am sure I can't do it so never try. At some point I'll try and hopefully surprise myself. Maybe once I can do a decent overhead press near my body weight I'll give it a try. I'd also like to be able to do a one arm pull-up and a muscle-up as well.

All this talk about head stands, hand stands, cartwheels! I used to love doing gymnastics and as a kid/early teen, was known to cartwheel down the grocery store aisle, much to my mother's consternation and disapproval. :o

When I was so much heavier, I was terrified of trying to do anything like that. I just knew I would not be able to support my weight and would fall and break my neck. Now I think I might like to try cartwheeling again. Kind of embarrassed to try, even in my own backyard. I think I might have enough room in my living room, if I'm careful. I guess the grocery store is off limits. :confused:

I tried a cartwheel several years ago, at my heaviest, and after several cocktails. It wasn't pretty. Nor was the bruise on my hip and thigh for a week afterward. :hyst:

2/1- Running on elliptical- 2.2 miles- 15 minutes. Gym- treadmill, arm circuit and abs. Walked to and from.
2/2- Walked to gym. 62 minutes on treadmill 4 miles. Arm circuit and abs. Walked home.
1/3- Walked to gym (in snow storm). Treadmill for 1 hour. Arm circuit and abs. Walked home (in flurries).

Mike I was like u. But I've read that doing pull ups are nothing like hands stands. Pull ups are totally different. I ran that by dh and he agreed. Pull up super more difficult.
Hand stands we have Skelton support.
Through the kart couple years I've tried doing pull up...I went one iup one inch, maybe,no where:).
I would imagine with all the push ups u've been doing ur set for practice H.S.
Carol I love that ur thinking of cartwheeling again. Loved ur story.
Me, not yet. That trick is a lot if knee work.
New sign comes to my mind.
Please don't let ur friends WC while drinking:)
