If a DD turns into a MD?

Does one do another DD the next day or just do the scheduled UP and stay on the regular rotation? Just curious...

If it doesn't go over a MD, just go ahead with your scheduled UD. Not that you were asking out of anything but curiosity.

I wouldn't do another DD after a MD...not enough calories to get you through your DD without being miserable, IMO. Most likely, I'd just do another UD tomorrow...or make today your 2nd UD and then do a DD tomorrow. Whatever works better for your schedule!

I had a DD that turned into a MD this week when I unexpectedly went out to dinner with some friends.
I ate one meal, it was probably around 1000 calories.
The next day, I felt full in the first part of the day because it had been a late evening meal.
So I just made it a DD, it worked well for me.

If it hadn't been one evening meal, it might have been harder to follow a with a DD like that.
Maybe a second MD instead.

Tee hee!

...well to be honest...

After rehearsal today the director and producer asked me to join them for a hot toddy. Well I'm glad I did because we just started rehearsals for this show and they've already asked me to be in their next production next year for CABARET!!! But one toddy turned into 3 which I calculated at 150 cals each and I had a 50 calorie Trader Joe coffee w/creamer single this morning and a piece of light low carb toast with 2 tbs egg whites so I am at 550 right now. It's only 6:45pm so I was thinking if I could just hold out i would have just went over 50cals and it would still be a DD. Maybe go to bed early tonight or clean my apartment and if I got to the point where I was gonna eat my arm of and couldn't sleep because of hungry maybe eat my DD dinner I had made yesterday which is 375 calories which would make today 900 a MD I guess. BUT I'm gonna try, try, try, try, try to keep this a DD. I'm not doing to bad right now...IMing with a friend, drinking lemon water and crossing my fingers...and my lips! LOL!

Thanks!!!!

And I'm calling this a DD even though I went over my 500 cals by 100. I decided I'd rather just go to sleep earlier, I am a little tired than decide to make it an UP and eat something for dinner. When I wake up tomorrow it will be my UD and I can have a nice goat cheese and spinach omelette with turkey bacon when I wake up!

BB, did you know that DDs have a calorie range? You can check Dr. Johnson's calculator. DDs in the "weight loss" range go up to 35%, and 40 and 45% are "weight loss/maintenance". So even if you normally shoot for 500 DD cals, you can do higher calories once in a while and still be doing a down day.

As per CaliChris and Flutter, as explained by 2BoysMom: I believe I had an epiphany.

Congratulations on getting asked to do another production!

The normal recommendation for changing rotations is DD-MD-UD order but, as always, JUDDD is so flexible and forgiving that you always can do what works for you.

I have occasionally had a DD following a MD and it did me no harm. Obviously if you get into that post MD DD and find you can't handle it, just turn it into an UD. easy-peasy. Don't you love this WOE? I do!
