I had been looking for "yoga without the BS" for a while and that's when I came across the DDP Yoga site. It claims to combine yoga, calisthenics and strength training. I just bought his "Yoga for Regular Guys" book ($7.50 on Kindle) to check it out. I want to see if it's something I would actually do before shelling out 90 bucks for the DVD.

I was just curious if that was the yoga DVD that your husband had.

Yes! That's it....he's always huffing and puffing while doing it, I told him a few times to lower the poundage on the weights he was using (20 pounders!) because he was going to have a stroke! I can't see killing yourself in the name of "getting healthy" to me it just doesn't seem enjoyable....I'm actually hoping it is a phase and he will find something mellower in the spring (he's an on again off again runner)....but whatever he decides is fine, if he wants to sweat like a piggy great as long as he doesn't give a hoot about my ballet or stretching (which he won't).

Exercise 4x per week.
Drink more water (80+ oz per day)
