Good morning! I'm feeling more like myself this morning. The past week has been weird. Off and on blues, fatigue, blah. Not depressed, but just down. I bailed on my DD yesterday, and have decided not to count my calories today, and just enjoy whatever I feel like having. Tomorrow I think I'll be ready to hit a good DD again and start February strong! Hold me to it guys!

Cindy, congratulations on BF's business taking off! The taxes part is never fun, but business success is great!

Ailuros, you've done it! I envy you moving into the maintenance stage. I know it must be kind of scary, but it's what you've worked so hard for. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of it as you get further into it! Please keep posting!

Yam-Yam, I hope you're feeling better today. Big to you!

You have done brilliantly Ailuros.

And so have you and BF Cindy. Taxes is taxes though...blah.

Be well Yamster my friend.

Carol you and me both but, at last, today I feel more like my usual self.

So much chatting - I'll never catch up. I've been on the road since Tuesday - traveling NJ to AZ. I'll be there tomorrow! Can't wait to get back on rotations - eating on the road hasn't been totally out of control, but definitely not UP and DOWN! I brought my scale with me to weigh all of Feb in AZ. And being able to walk daily outside will be wonderful!

Sweet lord I'm behind in my thread reading. Just a quick hello to everyone. I miss you all and I'm going to try and get caught up before the weekend is over.

Pretty sure I'm getting sick. I definitely overextended myself this week and the weekend is going to be hectic as well. I have been walking around with airborne and disinfecting the house, but I'm pretty sure it's a lost cause. Bummer! I blame the BF who is feeling much better and currently out with friends. Lame!

We received a 1099K from Paypal, and realized that our little business has turned into a pretty big one. Now we're scrambling to find records, receipts and what not for the IRS. Bf has really stepped it up this year and made a little more than my salary in his starter home business. We were a little shocked lol. From now on, we'll be keeping better records...question for you ebayers: How do you record transactions between private parties? The majority of what we buy and sell comes from private individuals and the flea market, for which of course there would be no receipts. We're going to have to hire a tax attorney, and thankfully Paypal keeps meticulous records of every transaction. I hope it isn't as scary as it seems.
Funny story: We have a few "regulars" that we met on Craig's List locally that we meet to buy from. There is a church close by that we have been meeting some of them, and I recently went there to meet a person to buy from because bf had hurt his back and was unable to do much of anything for about a week...anyway, the pastor pulled up beside me and said his name, and said others had been thinking of approaching us (bf, because I hadn't done this before), or calling authorities...I told him we were ebayers and only meeting sellers for a legitimate sell and nothing illegal. He gave me his card and said for us to come to church and share the wealth.

Carol, did we have twin weeks? I could have written this! (except I bailed on my DD on Wednesday). I love that it's a new month and a DD for me too.

Cindy: LOL! great story. Cute that the pastor wants in on the action profit wise.

Thanks for the well wishes, Melinda, Kissa and others. I'm starting to get better, but not there yet. At least I'm not as bad as I was. Thursday was the absolutely worst day. Yesterday was still bad but I had to drive DH to the hospital for a medical procedure and we went out for lunch afterwards. He was starving from the long pre-procedure fast.

Being sick has not killed my appetite at all! I was able to scarf down quite a bit of food in between all the coughing, wheezing, sneezing and blowing!

I will be out of touch from now until Monday afternoon or evening. Gonna miss all you peeps! The support from you really has been helping me stick with rotations and have pretty good DDs. I'll have to be strong!

We are going to be eating lots of good food tomorrow while watching the Super Bowl, so I am trying hard to have a very, very low DD today.

Oh, I finally am getting into Michael Mosley's book, "The Fast Diet" and liking it very much.

Christina: I know you read it and had a thread about it. I'm gonna have to look up your thread and read everyone's comments.

Have a great weekend, Budds! I'll "see" you all Monday afternoon.

Hi Yam! I liked Michael Mosley's book a lot too, although I think I need more extreme measures to make progress. Still a lot of great info in there, though, and I love his perspective.

So glad you're starting to feel better. We'll miss you while you're away!

My last chance to pop in before I go! I am reading his book slowly to absorb it all. So many good quotes and things to think about. I'm learning new things and I like that in a book. I'm highlighting and bookmarking a lot. I'll comment more on Monday!

JM, after 3 days (I think) of eating LC, my appetite is finally under control. I don't know why I would want to go back to that insatiable feeling again, eating sweets and carby processed snacks. Here's hoping I continue to remember this!!

I know! My DH said, "I thought your throat was hurting really bad. How can you eat like that with a sore throat?" I just shrugged my shoulders and with my mouth still full answered, "It's an Up Day!"

That's awesome! Since you posted about cutting out the white stuff a couple of weeks ago I have done the same and I'm actually seeing some results! I was at 159.3 and now I'm at 156.1. Yeah it's been about 2 weeks, but I don't care because the freaking scale is at least moving the right direction. I still have carbs, but just making an attempt to cut them back is really making a difference. I also try to watch the calories a little bit too and try not to over do it on high fat meats.
