You are doing great at being back on JUDDD!

Hi Sweet Seabreezes!!! Thanks for giving me that lovely picture in my mind. You just took me to my happy place.

I've been looking on line at condos for sale in Kapaa. We had such a grand time there. There is one for sale right now for $190,000 and it looks so nice. All furniture included, second story, ocean view. Lovely lanai. Ahhhhhhhh...the thought of living there.

DH humors me but I know he does not want to move. Oh well.

I'll just think of you being in heaven getting to look at the ocean every day!

We are planning to come to Waikiki end of August/beginning of September for a week. We have a rez in Kona starting the 4th so planned a week in Waikiki whatever that week is before that.

My DD and her kids will probably stay at our house while we are gone so they can enjoy the pool at the end of summer.

Anyway, if you are going to be in town we'll keep in touch and definitely raise a glass at Chuck's with you at our favorite table! I know you have an "in" with the bartender so you can get us a table for 4 and we can eat some of that yummy steak!

Hugs!

We will be off island all of August. Not sure when we will return in September. Hope we are here at the same time, though.

We definitely need a reunion!

I certainly do remember you, and am so sorry you have had such an awful trip in life to deal with. Since I lost my husband a year ago Xmas it's been a sobering experience but somehow you plow through. I am happy to see you and hope things are smoothing out for you.

DH and I went on a spur-of-the-moment 3 day holiday and had no Internet access. It was a lovely time but, wow, did I get off track! Saturday was a planned UD and that was great. Sunday turned into a MD that turned into an UD and today was just a whatever day. I didn't count calories or weigh the whole long weekend. My bad.

Let's call it an "adjustment".

I'm having a nice dinner tonight, I'm NOT getting on the scale tomorrow and I will have a lovely DD tomorrow.

AND my DH signed up last Thursday at my gym! So we can go together! I am extremely happy about this.

Have fun working out together.

Just returned from "our table" in Waikiki. Had my normal drink and then a really good bottle of wine. Fortunately it was an UD. Tomorrow HAS to be a DD. Shouldn't be too bad!

I'm looking forward to no cooking for 6 weeks......just hope I come home at the same size!

I'd noticed your absence Yamster, glad it was all in the name of fun.

You are so going to enjoy that DD, so cleansing, but doing stuff on the spur of the moment with someone you love is even more important.

How lovely that DH has joining your gym. I go with mine other half too, keeps us both on track.

Oh wow! No cooking for 6 weeks sounds like heaven! I'm sure you will do great at maintaining. Love thinking of you at "our" table! I can just picture it every time you talk about it.

I am really really enjoying my DD. I'm getting some much overdue cleaning done around the house right now. Taking advantage of the energy I'm feeling.

You are soooooooo right about spur of the moment fun with my lover. He's a doll. Time together is precious and it's just the most important thing right now.

Yes, it is our favorite way to travel these days. I am always amazed at the wonderful life I get to lead. I never take it for granted.

As Yam Yam says, retirement is wonderful!

Very envious of the travel and retirement talk.
I'm very career oriented, but look forward to the day that it's not a necessity.
It's almost 6pm and DW and I are just now getting ready for the gym. I so much more enjoy the thought of going at 10am on a Monday than 6:30pm.

I tell people when they grow up and become our age, then they do the things we do!

At least when you have youth you can work and then still go to the gym....enjoy each stage.

You are right. That is something to look forward to. I used to have to get up at 5 a.m. to make it to the gym. Now it's flexible and I go when it fits into our schedule. I was a lot more disciplined back then. But now I'm having more fun!

Does that mean we are grown up? I feel more like a kid lately ..... just goofing off with little responsibility! Oh yeah, if I go to the gym that's my one big thing for the day. Can't imagine going and doing a tough work out and then going to work. There are some benefits to getting older!

Well, Yay! It looks like my 3 day holiday didn't do any damage except that I would probably be a pound or two lighter.

I had a terrific DD yesterday and the scale was very friendly this morning. I'm still 8 pounds down from when I started this time on December 20th. I'll take it. I'm sure if I would have been more careful over the weekend and had one extra killer DD I probably could have knocked off another pound.

But, hey! I had fun. No guilt. No feelings of failure or giving up. I kept remembering the book I read about ADF being flexible and there is no such thing as failure. There are just adjustments so we can live our lives.

And that's what I LOVE about JUDD!!!
