My DD turned into an UD. I was sort of forced to go back to work eventhough I am still sick, so I made myself feel better by eating what I wanted... I was sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!!


Well, I will probably make tomorrow a DD and continue on... I just needed that mental break.

You're proof that whatever it is you're doing is right for you, so maybe adopt the same attitude to other people's DD numbers as you are to the scale?

I keep within my DD allowance to make it easier to maintain DH's DDs (he's not at target). But, I'm thrilled that I have a more generous allowance if i need it. And, I feel that boosting my kcal intake while still maintaining gives me more options when I get older. I didn't want to go in my later decades having to reduce kcal intake from an already small number IYSWIM as this makes it difficult to maintain an overall balanced diet.

I finished my Down day with just the turkey broth and water. The leftovers from the girls' dinner looked great, so I wrapped them up and had them for breakfast this morning.

dawn, AGREED! you deserve your calories girl - enjoy maintenance!

carol - don't you dare change a thing! you figured out your magic formula - enjoy it!

for me, if i can keep my DD lows, i don't really have to count much on UD's, which i need as i am a horrible counter

Lol, and I had finished my salad about 2 hours before the pizza arrived. I didn't even imagine eating it. But, I'll have some today.
