What Do You Do With The Extra Time on DD?

This is a new development for me. I am bored out of my mind. For the first time I'm not obsessing about my food.

This is my first DD and on one hand its a welcome break from constantly feeling chained to food on the other I have ALOT of time leftover.

What do you do on your down day when you dont have to spend the time eating food or as much time eating food?

What do you do not to think about hunger and food and such?

What I do with more time on DD is:

Shop
Read
Exercise
Chores

I wish I could sleep more, but that hasn't been the case for me being peri-menopausal.

Good Luck! ~ Ann

Right now I'm doing a lot of Christmas shopping. But quite a few Judd Budd's favorite past time is to shop for clothes in the thrift stores to save money, because their size shrinks so incredibly fast on a continual basis with this WOE. The best non-scale victory there is - "the pants don't lie!"

I go to the thrift store too!

In fact, I have a pair of navy blue pants that I bought recently that are just a smidge to snug. Working on getting them to fit before Christmas!

Hang out here!

Work, clean, organize, read, shop online, shop IRL. I definitely do best when I'm keeping myself plenty busy.

I work two days a week and I can set my own days so I always try to go to work on DD's. Then I work so hard I am finished by noon. LOL

I like to read, but don't usually get much time to do it at home. I still like to get away from my desk on my lunch hour at work, so I take my ipad either to the lounge or my truck (during the summer... to get warm while the A/C is on) and have a whole hour every other day to read whatever I want to!

I find that I HAVE to stay busy on a DD. Get a project going, run errands, whatever - if I'm not busy, I can't help but think about food!
Besides, coming to the end of a DD knowing I've accomplished something AND I haven't eaten... double cheer for me!

I'm crazy productive at work.
And free time on Dd is a great time to exercise, do errands, shop, do laundry.
Right now busy with holiday stuff. I like to come home from work and relax... Doesn't happen much.

E-bay. I need summer clothes in the dead of winter; it's the only way. Wardrobe for the tropics almost done, floaty linen things in bright colors and white.

When I'm at work, I love doing all my errands on my lunch hour. I do ebay so that often involves shipping items, and it's always time consuming. I wouldn't have time to eat, if I wanted to! When I'm at home, I try to stay busy or away from home. I really have to keep busy, or I start thinking about what I'd like to eat!
