UD Monday - Plan?

I'm sticking with my set rotations. See how this carries through the holidays!

B - 2 eggs/toast 280c
S - protein granola bar 190c
L - chicken broccoli noodle soup (homemade!) 200c
D - Non-Chili Chili 500c
Snack, left over birthday cake and ice cream!

1900c total. Eating leaner during the day to allow for a LARGE piece of cake!

I like it!

My calculated calories come out to 1400; maybe I should have some cake to bump it up but I feel so stuffed already. The closest I've gotten to my UD cals of 1900 is 1650 on Saturday.

Today:

lunch (at 1pm, yay!): kohlrabi, cucumber, radish and hummus, chicken curry with coconut milk over string beans plus extra chicken thigh WITH skin, 1/2 oz nuts for dessert
snack: 4 of my homemade cottage cheese/protein patties, plus sour cream and blueberries
dinner: rib eye steak, 4 oz, plus roasted butternut squash and salad, half an apple and some cheese if I can stomach it

OMG, 1700 calories and I'm so stuffed...will have to roll into bed.

I know you all say eat your UD calories, but this is really ridiculous.

I'll just say, I can easily eat my 1900c, NO PROBLEM AT ALL! If you can't get them in, eat more nuts, PB, Avacados, full fat/calorie dressing, cheese. THose are super EASY ways to bump up calories easily. I rarely eat any of these and NEVER had issues getting in my calories! From what others say, if you don't eat UP to your Up Day calories, weight loss slows. I would have no idea, I haven't ever had that issue.

It is a "chili" made a little different. My KIDS love it, although they love Chili too!

Ground beef (I use ground turkey) Brown it and drain
Add, 1 cup rice (cooked and prepared)
2 cans of tomato soup (or to save calories tomato juice)
1 can of corn

My kids LAP it up! It is perfect for a cold cold day too! I make mine the day before. As with most soup type dishes, it is better if it sits overnight!

I also have to use GF Tomato soup. So I tend to buy the organic kind.

I made mine last night. Comes out to 2000c for the entire POT!

Sounds interesting! I don't eat corn though.

I found that when I ate to my calories (going by what the calculator gave me on the site), I gained weight

Never heard of that Jenn. I guess I stand correct. I thought the general thoughts here were, eat to the Up Day calories.

Let me clarify...I gained weight when I had to force myself to get as close to my UD calories as possible (they are pretty high).

I think if you are hungry and haven't eaten to your calories, than by all means, eat. But I didn't like having to force myself where I felt like I was going to pop.

Right now I am no where near what the calculator says, but I'm very satisfied and have had lots of good, whole, real food today. I don't think I'm going to get hungry later, but if I do I know I have those calories there and if I don't, no big deal.

But you have to remember, too, that I have problems eating. You would be proud of me today, Monica. I ate breakfast, lunch, and supper!!!

Thanks, Handbells. It also feels wrong to me to be eating way past the point of hunger. I'm going to stick to what feels right physically. I'm pretty sure that stuffing to discomfort is not good for me--I've *never* had any problems eating, oh no.
