Glad to see so many already up and at 'em this morning.

B: Chobani
L: Coffee/HWC
S: Coffee/HWC
D: Salmon Patty

Target: 350 - 400

I'm trying something new and I hope it doesn't get my hungry monster woke up too early in the day. I read that after doing HIIT like the Tabata workouts I'm doing on my stationary bike, you should eat protein within 30 minutes. Hence the Chobani I'm eating right now. I'm currently doing Tabata EOD on DD mornings, but if this doesn't work, I may need to switch them to UD mornings.

Good luck Carol. I think it'll be fine, but I'm one who likes most of my calories in the mid-day or spread out. With the Tabata, you may actually need a few more calories too.

Thanks Dawn. So far so good, I'm not feeling hungry. You're right about the extra calories. That's what I did all last month and it served me well. I'm just on a keeping it low kick right now - not sure why. I'll switch it up again soon, I'm sure.

Ann, you are doing great getting your protein in girl! I need to re-focus on that.

Thanks gals! I'm relieved to see that although fat loss has been a very slow process for me now that I'm within 10 lbs. of my goal weight, this WOE with higher protein is working well to save my muscle mass in the process. I'm planning to return to BFFM in the new year to build more muscle during the first quarter of the year, which requires cycling carbs & calories at higher levels.

I have decided to lower my goal weight for the New Year to 132, to allow for a bit more wiggle room for fluctuations in water weight. My new maintenance range will be 132 - 136 lbs.

Happy Holidays & Best Wishes to you all on your continued progress in the New Year!

~ Ann

I don't usually post on the DD threads, because it's so consistently boring!
But here goes:

B: coffee w/ HWC (60)
L: 2c cabbage soup (105)
S: 2c cabbage soup (105)
Snack: 1 slice deli ham and 1 slice cheese (110)
=380

It's best to have a plan in place, and set aside something to have ready to eat. As the saying goes, "Failure to plan, is a plan to Fail."

Hey everyone,
I am back!! And not too happy with myself. I have gained about 15 lbs over the last 1 1/2 yrs since starting my new job. I have tried everything to get this weight off. Part of it is hormones but part of it is that i sit a lot more now and my schedule is weird and I'm not working out as much and then i worked out too much. I also jacked with my way of eating way too much, which can end up hindering weight loss instead of helping. So here i am back to JUDDD to see if this will work. It worked before so I'm hoping. I have had 2 DD's and they were good.
I havent weighed so who knows if i lost anything. I'm not going to weigh for a little while. I will know in my clothes. Thats all i need!!!

So for today it is protein shake made with almond milk, 1 egg, gelatin and sugar free vanilla.
lunch was cabbage slaw with spices and very low cal sauce with 20 extra small shrimp
i brought a low cal chocolate muffin to bring to work
snack of 1/4 cup of 0% yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup pumpkin and spices
I dont know what dinner will be yet, maybe a protein shake

I'm going to the gym after work. I'm not going to exercise in the mornings on DD's. It makes me too hungry. If i go to the gym after work i can go straight home and just have something light like a shake and then get ready for bed and not have time to really get hungry. That is the plan anyway!! LOL
So far not too hungry. It helps eating little bits here and there throughout the day.

Good to be back here. I hope this works. Something has to give!!!

Yes this is probably true. I have some ff greek yogurt on hand for 80 calories and either broth or some black eyed peas. Love to make those into a soup.

Thanks guys.
I'll be posting as much as i can. I'll be reading more than anything probably. But i really need to do this and get this extra weight off. After losing so much weight I have to nip this in the bud now. The last thing i want is to keep gaining. It has been so frustrating lately. Its like my body is working against me so I;m hoping JUDDD works. Nothing else has.
