DD Thursday - plan?

It's FRIDAY - EVE! The week after a holiday week is always so hard...and LONG!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on tomorrow!!

Plan:

eggs/toast 210c
quest bar 190c
cottage cheese 80c
veggies 100c

We will see how this goes. I have a massive headache, so if needed, I will go up to 800c.

My plans are water again. And plenty of activities to take my mind off it:
Floor in Littlest's room.
Finishing sister-in-law's mitts.
Making Christmas presents.
Preparing turkey pot pie for the freezer.
Laundry.

Notice the presence of laundry at the BOTTOM of the list!

Trying to keep today comfortable. I always strive for super low and then start feeling hungry because I'm focused on keeping the day low. So today I'm just taking it as it comes.

L: Yogurt or two rice cakes
D: Black bean and corn salad

I think I should just eat what Monica eats. YOu seem to have DDs nailed down!

B: nothing yet
L: need water and vitamins, and tea
S: might need a protein shake. Will extend with water
D: cauliflower-topped shepherds pie (480 I think... I buy this at the store...it's that or 500), and green beans, and maybe yogurt if needed

700 max without the protein shake.

S.

Soren, how is your pup doing?

Hot tea, cold tea, water, celery-lemon juice and broth: all as needed

Salad, turkey, spinach parmesan

Not to exceed 700 calories

This is probably going to sound crazy but I'm glad tomorrow is an up day because we're expecting a lot of snow and ice, I have snow anxiety! LoL (and tend to want to eat more)

On my fifth glass of water. Painting done(I left that off the list). First flooring chunk of the day done. One load of laundry in the dryer. I'm about to work on the mitts.

Kris-- the big update is that the sock that is covering his paw (he will NOT tolerate a bandage anymore, which is how we wound up in this mess, somewhat) was DRY this morning. I swear, I almost cried.
I'm hoping healing is going on. We change the sock 1x a day (or more if it's wet) and so I'll look tonight. I *think* what I saw last night was healing tissue, no infection or anything, just raw looking (look up granulation tissue and you'll know what I mean)... fingers and paws crossed.

Ok, I need to get on board and get my water in and those vitamins!

Honestly--posting here, and often, is really what keeps me motivated. to you all!

It sounds like he's healing.. YAY!! I know you've been having a time of it, I've been keeping good thoughts for you both. I absolutely hate when any of my animals have an issue.

I'm going to try to weigh tomorrow morning. I think I've had some flushing going on as I have been going much more than I've been putting in.
The burns on my face are turning dark brown, and the one on my forehead had a few small blisters, which popped, then itched. So I forgot, scratched them and OWIE!!! Seriously, we leave for Cali tomorrow and I have these huge burn marks on my face. I realize this is a major first world problem but I am super bummed.

Jen- aloe.
LCL - you MUST have fluids, and some electrolytes, or you will feel worse! Seriously, force yourself to have broth, water, herbal tea, etc.
the worst day of my stomach virus the other month, mother most run down I felt, was the day the dr said I was dehydrated.
Watch for wrinkly fingertips, pasty mouth. Please, be careful, ok?
____________

Had a good dd, finally!
I think of all my tea, green is the best for me on dd. Just enough energy, and helps with the hunger/head hunger too.

I ended up with some miso (35) around 3:45pm
Dinner was
Green beans (100)
Part of the shepherds pie (360)
Source yogurt(100)
Cereal in the yogurt (110)

Right around 700, and I'm ok with that.
Yay me!

I have been, believe me! I have this really amazing skin stuff that is based with pharmaceutical grade aloe extract. I've been slathering that on as though my life has depended on it. I'd be super frightened to see what it looked like without it!
I think my forehead is the worst because I didn't ice it as much as I did my lip and chin. It didn't hurt as badly, and when I iced it, it gave me a cold headache which just added to my misery. I'm paying for it now.
Oh well...it will heal...eventually!

Vitamin E can be really good for healing skin and reducing scars. You can buy it in capules of oil, nick one, and rub the oil right on.

it will totally heal, and you won't be able to see anything!
