DD Tuesday ~ What's your plan?
 
I have been battling a head cold which decided to move into my chest overnight, so my plan for the day is shot. I intended to do mainly yogurt, but I'm thinking that might not be such a great idea with all this hacking.

B: Quest bar - coconut cashew (170)
L: Small Wendy's chili with TJ's habanero hot sauce and onions (184)
D: ?? Maybe some tuna zoodle alfredo, maybe soup.

I have broth and serranos if I need them throughout the day too.

I'm on the induction phase:

B- 2 slices pre-cooked bacon, 1 small tomato, 1/4 of avocado, coffee w/sf pumpkin creamer - 140 cal


L - frozen dinner - 150 cal


D- lettuce, tomato, turkey - 150 cal

Total - 440 cal

Not that I'm really doing JUDDD but since this is a rest day it is my low calorie day so I'll call it my DD.

L: Eggs, turkey bacon and Canadian Bacon

S: macadamia nuts

1806 calories 19g carbs (14g net)

I'm feeling better than yesterday (and I think I've gotten over my cold, mostly... weird.)

Anyway, here's the plan:

B: genmaicha tea (green tea with roasted brown rice in it. Very mild and toasty tasting)
vitamins, including pteroblue
water
L: not sure. I have a protein shake on standby if needed
D: chicken and roasted veggies!

D: Tuna and pickles

Anywhere between 350 and 500, depending on how much tuna I feel like I need for dinner.

I opted for my bed yesterday instead of the gym, but I'd like to go today. If I make it I will add a rice cake if needed.

Here at GMT+4 it's bedtime, and tomorrow (Wednesday) is my down day.

Plan is as follows, for under 400 cals. I try to drink 6-8 oz of water every hour

early am: black coffee, lots of water

mid morning: if hungry, coffee with 1T heavy cream, water

lunch: leek broth

mid-afternoon: coffee with cream and/or coconut oil

from mid-afternoon on: green tea, more water

Dinner: leek broth

before bed (10pm): if too hungry to sleep, 1-2 oz hard cheese (200)

l was 5 calories of chicken broth
d I have 300 calories for lean protein, something hot to drink and some green veggies

Instead of a salad, I had 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

So thus far, 450c, I am still allowing 200c for dinner. I am thinking soup now too. I am freezing!

D: ratatouille, jacket potato & Parmesan
S: 2 cups of tea & a square of Lindt Chilli Chocolate

All in all very happy with the day!

I have had 4 coffee's and lots of water, going to bed soon - its 10pm here in the UK. Not feeling too hungry at all but looking forward to lots of lovely food tomorrow :D

My potatoes exploded all over my face so that kinda ended any hunger or desire for more food. Seeing as my face is burned and my lips are too swollen to eat (I'm drinking with a straw). I'm currently icing my face in sections. Its fun.

Goodness, Yennie! That must really hurt - I hope you heal quickly.

Tea and broth all day. Dinner was some sweet potato, broccoli, turkey sausage and 1 cup of artichoke pasta.

Will have a SF gingerale later

I need this good DD - had a good UD yesterday until I kinda lost it late and "snacked" on cheese

Well the plan changed as I suspected it would! ended up with 457 not <300:o
I think I need to go a little high on UDs.

JD, I forgot to reply about the flu shot. I never get them. I probably should, but I have so many friends who have gotten one and then got the flu immediately after, that I'm askeered. :)

quick story. I work in a small office. Only 6 of us. In October 2009 there was a reported Chicken Pox case in my DD's class. We had to take her to the DR to verify she got her 2nd Pox shot. While there they said, let's just do flu shots. We had never gotten them. I said, OK, we were all 4 there. Fast forward to December, near Christmas, 1 of the guys in the office got HORRIBLY sick. couldn't function at all. He was out 2 full weeks. Then my office assistant over Christmas, couldn't function at all. Coughing, respiratory issues almost hospitalized. Then my boss and the other coworker...SAME THING! DH works with me. We were the only 2 that didn't get sick. The others were all confirmed with FLU! One guy was so sick he dropped 20 pounds. ANother guy coughed so much he blew a vessel in his eye. AWFUL. Since that year, we always get shots! Never have we ever had a symptom from the shots. Just a thought....
