I don't do low carb but I can also gain that much overnight. I hold water like a sponge at times and I am old.

I don't do low carb either and gained about 8 pounds over 4 days. I also don't usually retain water, but I know I was this time because my feet were swollen. I do know I wasn't drinking nearly as much water as I normally do. 2 DDs and I was back in my range though.

I don't do LC, but I did put on 7-8 lbs over a week of no DDs. I think DDs keep the extra water weight down, so it's similar to LC in that respect--eating every day at normal calories does much the same thing as eating off plan when you are LC. Just a thought.
