My goal is to be at 130 by the end of the year, which would be a miracle. I've been trying to lose the same 7-10 pounds for six months with no luck at all. So here goes:

12/1 132.6 DD -- 340
12/2 133.4 UD -- (not a great start. It must be the soy sauce ??) 1530
12/2 134.0 DD -- (not used to bouncing up like this .. eek.) 340
12/3 134.2 UD --

Yesterday was very unpleasant for me. And I won't say I'm not disappointed that my weight is going the wrong way. It seems counter-intuitive to me but I guess these bounces are normal. I wish I could chalk it up to eating carbs or too much salt, but yesterday was eggs only and I'm still gaining ...

Here's hoping today brings a loss --- or at least a stop to the gaining. I haven't weighed this much in quite some time and certainly not when I was simultaneously starving. Very weird ...

I am sure there is a whoosh lurking somewhere! I went through something similar this week.I didn't get a whoosh but righted myself, sort off!

Dec Goal. get a footing in the LOW 50s.

I just want to maintain around 118. I was down to 116.5, but that lasted about 2 days. So far I am doing ok. I fluctuate a lot. Thanksgiving had me up a few pounds. Ugh. Trying to get them back off. 119 yesterday.

The scale does unpredictable things with JUDDD. It definitely isn't a reliable guide to progress. Just do the rotations and JUDDD will do the rest.



My rather ambitious goal for December is to be bouncing around 124, rather than 126.

03 - D - 126.6
04 - U - 125.2
05 - D - 128

After 4 free days in a row at the end of November, my goal is to get back to the mid 140's by the end of the year. I'd also like to transition back to 5:2 at some point and see if I can maintain mid-140's with only 2 DDs per week.

Susan41 - I've come to the same conclusion. I'm so addicted to starchy carbs (wheat based in particular) that I simply cannot eat any amount of them without waking up all sorts of cravings and hunger. And big weight bounces. I think eating those things is what derailed me on my last round of JUDDD. This time, I'm banishing those foods!

Same here, trying get back to April weight! Although, looking at your trend I'm sure you're headed for a break through

total water weight, girl! don't get discouraged. you did NOT gain five lbs of fat in one day. just those crazy cells holding on to all the water. you'll flush it out, i have no doubt!

Oh, thanks for the commiseration jd.

I'm trying hard not to think too much about this and just keep my head down and do it. I'm suffering quite a bit on the DDs so that's probably affecting my mood a bit, too. I'm hoping I am not one of those who takes months to adjust to the low calories.

I sure do admire your commitment to walking. I try to walk 3-5 miles a day but you are inspirational. I'm going to try to push it more.
