Places I didn't measure

I measured my bust, hips and waist, and have been constant on keeping up with that, but I have noticed that my waist is not changing much recently but all my pants are getting huge in the legs.:dunno: I WISH I had done thigh measurements. Not to mention calf and arm measurements. It would really be motivational when the scale isn't moving. My waist has stayed the same for months now, so it isn't really an indicator of pounds lost.

Measure now, and keep track from here!
I was actually surprised at how much my calves have shrunk. I've always considered myself a "weight all in the middle" kind of girl - even at my heaviest, my arms & legs didn't look "fat" - it was all in my tummy, thighs and butt.
So I thought.
But now I have to have my riding boots taken in, some tall fashion boots I have are starting to sag because they're loose enough that my legs aren't holding them up anymore and my favorite pair of black, knee high zippered heel boots are actually gaping at the top. These are boots I previously had to put some effort into zipping!
So even if you don't have "starting" measurements, do it now so you can see how things change. Or pull a pair of boots out of the back of your closet and see how they zip! Its pretty awesome! :)
PS - My waist hasn't changed in months either :/

My waist has grown. :(

I haven't been to the gym for a couple of months. Tomorrow I go!

Don't regret the lack of measuring. THE PANTS DON'T LIE!
Congratulations

Yep, I still have my tummy...stupid thing is stubborn! My legs have definitely shrunk, though. Weird how that goes! Just keep going girl, you got this!!!

I measure

neck
upper right arm
lower right arm
chest (under breasts)
waist (natural)
hips
right thigh
right calf

Sometimes I lose in unexpected places. Like, since January, I've lost about an inch from my neck!

I measure monthly. :) It's never too late to start.

I'm sure you're losing in all kinds of places you didn't measure. I'm sure we all are!

Regarding the waist - hula hoop. Just saying. It's been amazing for me and I just think it's so much fun!

Slimming-up 11-25-2013 10:50 AM

Carol, do you have to be a little coordinated to do the hula? That could be a little problem for me...

But if I could, between rubberbands and hula, I might come up with a good routine.

I wish I'd taken some clear before photos. I'm sure there are some around, but since I generally avoid getting in the shot, I probably wont find a really good one.

Umm, I'm not overly coordinated, but it did take me some practice to get any good at it at all. The first few times I tried I couldn't keep it up more than one spin. Now I can actually go for 2 hours straight (I've only done this once, and sort of as a challenge to myself). More typical is 30 minutes or 60 minutes.

:faint:

Measuring - when I started this again last week, I only measured my upper/lower waist and bottom. I don't have the time or patience to do more. :D
