DD Friday--Where is Everybody?

Am I the only one doing a DD today?

So far, coffee! I had one cup before leaving the house, 20, and one starbucks skinny latte (nasty!)-60, because I didn't drink but a little over half. I would rather have McD's SF vanilla iced coffee any day for 40 calories more (large).

Tonight I'll have something but no decision yet. Probably Chicken.

I'm down!
My regular coffee with h&h this morning - 60
Cabbage soup of course, for lunch 2 cups - 125
Now I'm sipping a Zevia.
I might eat a cucumber in a little while.
For the rest of the day, I'll have another bowl or two of cabbage soup.
That's it!

Slimming, the cabbage soup didn't work well for me. I found myself hungrier than if I'd eaten nothing. I need protein, so from now on I'll continue to have one meal with chicken, beef or pork on DDs, I think.

Sorry it didn't!
I'm actually surprised it does for me - considering the emptiness of those calories.
I think for me it's a mental thing. I get more bulk, and being a warm liquid it give me more satisfaction.
If I try to eat the same calories in protein, though, it will never hold me!

Cabbage soup works for me as well. I use to fast on down days but my hair and nails suffered. I don't know if that was the main culprit but all is well now, especially since I can take vitamins on down days now.

I knew you would see that, Flutter! It's true. It tasted like burnt coffee w/no cream at all hardly.They must give the dregs to the dieters.

this is why I will never have a regular latte. Skinny ones feel like a huge splurge to me. Don't ruin my delusions!!!!

Easing my way back into JUDDD...

2 cups coffee, with a packet of YooHoo in each - 20 cals
Late "lunch" - big muffin made with Ouis's Better than Flour Mix - 115 cals
Late dinner - two turkey wraps, made with Ouis's Easy Tortillas - 60 cals, 2 oz Oscar Mayer Turkey Breast - 60 cals , dill pickle and mustard - a few cals

I'm trying to do some super-low cal DDs as I get started. So far so good, when I delay my first meal of the day and eat my second pretty late.

omg you guys are so funny with the starbucks! My DH feels that way about decaf vs regular. He says decaf is bitter... but since I really can *NOT* have regular coffee I don't know the difference

DD here. Nothing yet as it is early here. Leftovers were sent home, so I'll have some turkey and veggies later.

Hubby is gone for 7+ days, so I am staying out of the kitchen as much as possible! That ought to help on DD's before the next wave of gatherings start...

Hope everyone enjoyed yesterday. The parking lots were full at Best Buy, Macy's, etc as I drove to the airport late last night! Good for the economy, I guess!

Having a good DD so far. It's 1:30 here and I've had:

3 cups of coffee w/ SF Creamer - 46 calories
Egg White scramble w/veggies, ff cheese, salsa, and ham - 136 calories

Totaling 182 so far. Probably a taco salad w/ lean ground beef.

Feels so good to have a DD after two UDs. Gotta get my rotations on point and my UD calories reigned in. I'm sitting pretty even and would like to see some losses.

My poor tummy was not happy after yesterday. I *may* have drank more calories than I ate. Not my fault my dad produced TWO bottles of my absolute favorite Italian wine. It was an UD - I don't have to have will power on an UD!
Anyway, today was mostly liquids. Coffee, water, a canof progressive light soup (160). Then some popcorn because it always settles my stomach (120). I'm pretty happy with the day, I guess.
