I have one...I remember a friend of mine joking about her boyfriend who complained that after two years of owning them the drying suddenly started shrinking his Levis. (Been there ...)

But I just had the opposite experience -- I noticed that suddenly "the dryer was stretching out my favorite t-shirts". Then I realized, no, it's not the dryer, it's just that an XL is just too big for me now! So yay for that!

I have a great one, and it doesn't really have anything to do with my slowly shrinking exterior. Prompted by some of the mentions of underthings by you lovely ladies, I went out and bought some new undie and bra sets. Lacy ones, red and purple. i looked at what I have, beige, centuries-old, elastic given out and said, "sheesh, this is the underwear drawer of someone who doesn't feel very good about herself, or who just doesn't care." And so I said the heck with it, even if I have to get rid of them in a few months, I might as well look nice on the journey (and it was all on sale). Have never done this before, ever.

JUDDD is putting my head in order, as well as my metabolism.

And another one: hunger and mood management. I got stuck yesterday in an inadvertent down day. Before JUDDD (BJ), I would have thrown myself at any old crap because I've "got to eat to keep my energy up!" And my temper would have been all over the place, railing at all the minor and medium frustrations of the day. AJ (After JUDDD), it wasn't a struggle not to eat--not only physically, but emotionally--I seem to have lost that old frantic feeling of dependency on food.

Honestly, I think this plan is miraculous.

I bought a pair of pants a few months ago at the thrift in "my size"

Got them home and I couldn't button them. The button was nowhere near the buttonhole even! A good inch or so away. I put them on today and I could button them!!!!! They are tight, but they buttoned!!!

The pants don't lie!

A lovely surprise, and aren't you glad you "tried" and didn't get too small and couldn't wear them at all?

I have a new NSV. Yesterday, as I was walking to my car at work, a car drove by with two young men in it. They had the windows rolled down and I heard one say loudly to the other, "Dude, that chick's HOT!" My NSV isn't that a random stranger thought I was hot (and yes, I verified that I was the only "chick" around), but that I just smiled and accepted it. I WAS having a good hair day, so I already thought I was looking pretty cute.

DH tells me I'm sexy all the time, but it's almost becoming common for random strangers to comment on my appearance, sometimes politely and sometimes crudely. In my youth, it would have embarrassed me to the ends of the earth. Now I'm starting to enjoy it.
