Whoo-hoo, Yam and Utah!

My underwear is baggy. Not sexy, but definitely an NSV.

Mine's a bit too snug. Maybe sort of sexy, but definitely NOT an NSV!

Here's mine:
1) My rings are spinning on my fingers (I'll get them resized when I get to goal.)
2) Tummy's flatter and pants looser.
3) My body feels tighter, leaner, less bloated.
4) I've been on JUDDD 36 days - on the 28th day, my energy starting being high, and my appetite on DDs and UDs is SO LOW. That's just surreal.
5) I'm losing weight even though I'm eating: pizza, See's candy, potato chips, cinnamon buns, lemon pie, roasted marshmellows. That's surreal also.
6) First time in 3 years I can keep trigger foods in the house, like peanut butter....they're not calling my name.
7) My attitude is better, more light-hearted, humorous and friendly.
8) Best one! I feel euphoric.... I don't ever remember being this happy and filled with hope.

What could go wrong? I read that if you stop rotations, the SIRT1 enzymes (the JUDDD magic) begin to diminish and are gone in 11 days. Anyone have experience with that? So I don't plan on doing a slew of MDs in a row. I had to do about 6 in a row once and I think they slowed my losses - not sure.

Just be careful of the loose rings. My hubby just lost his wedding band. He noticed it was getting loose, but didn't think too much about it until it was gone

Yesterday I wore my "normal" jeans. My "fat" jeans were in the wash, so I gave the intermediate jeans a go. Not in my skinny jeans by a long-shot, but at least I'm out of the fat jeans.

I was at the gym this morning and although I am showing more weight than I like, I thought I was looking pretty good. Nice to see my shape isn't changing too much.

I can wear cheap underwear!!!

For years the only underwear that fit comfortably were ones I had to order out of a catalog that has expensive shipping charges. It's not that I wear a particularly big size--I can find my size in just about any store, but the cut of brands like Hanes and Fruit of the Loom were too tight in the legs and uncomfortable. Last night I had to throw out a pair of my comfy ones, and it made me wonder if the others might fit--and they do!

This week I noticed that when I wash my hands, they feel bonier. That's one weird thing--even though I gained 100+ lbs, my fingers never got "pudgy" and I've been able to wear most of my rings. But my hands definitely feel different.

My face felt different, too, when I washed it this morning. It doesn't LOOK different to me, yet...still puffy & fluffy.
But it's nice to feel the bones underneath.

Yay, PJ, cheap knickers, only way to even more is to do what I do, and wear none.

On the AIM thread, CC and Utah were discussing buying and wearing out jeans as an indication of successful maintenance. I responded with the following (and was directed to post it here):

I've been 145ish for well over a year now (with a couple of bigger bounces - as high as 160 for a minute and a half), and just realized the size 6L Levi's I bought when I got down to 145 are getting quite faded and soft. They're getting worn out! Now THAT's an accomplishment. Thanks for the perspective.

Funny, PJ, I always wore cheap chones before I lost the weight and now spend ungodly amounts of money on nice chones. More options is a wonderful NSV!!

Well, one day I might be able to buy nice ones again. Going to wait a bit, though, because I hope to start going down in sizes pretty soon here..I mean, I just lost 16lbs in 8 weeks! Can't waste $ on things I'll only be able to wear for a couple months!

(Hee hee..."chones". I haven't heard that one in a long time. )

AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT!!! All of my skinny clothes I bought last year are waiting in my closet for me to lose this weight AGAIN!! Grrr.... So, they're not soft yet.

Nothing better than soft, faded jeans (yes, I'm a girl of the 80s!). This is a great one, Dawn.

Did anyone say faded blue jeans? I'm a 60's flower child - still wear faded blue jeans and shop at Forever 21 for beautiful white peasant blouses.
