I need to find some good stuff then!!! The double tums are not leaving any time soon. (and I don't know if my face & legs can handle more weight loss!)

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
I got a text this morning about an upcoming pool party for Keira's softball team. I replied that we'd be there without giving it a second thought. Then I got a little excited at the thought of "getting" to wear my new swim suit (which is very modest). Then I realized I wasn't dreading "having" to wear a swim suit in public.

This is the ultimate! Swim suits in public are the most intimidating.

That is awesome! I must admit that I still don't relish the idea, but I don't dread it either.

That's great, Dawn. I can't imagine anything more intimidating than a swimsuit.

My own NSV--for days I planned on wearing my brand-new NYDJ red coated jeans (size 8 but seemingly as snug as my size 6 NYDJ jeans) on my trip to Warsaw, imagining how they'd look with my black high-heeled boots and figuring out what kind of jacket would set them off best. Then I put them the day of my departure, spent a few hours doing chores and errands, and suddenly realized that I had several inches of gaping space between the waistband and my waist. I took them off and hung them in my closet, resolving to take them to the secondhand store on my return, opened up a suitcase, and pulled out a smaller pair of black jeans.

I'm sure that part of that was the jeans themselves. I'd washed them just once, in cold water, and hung them to dry, but I swear the fabric just stretched out incredibly from the time I put them on that morning. Nevertheless I'm also finding that the size 6 NYDJ jeans I have are getting roomy by the end of the day.

And here's a lesson for me when buying jeans like NYDJ or other stretchy jeans: If you find a size that fits, try the next size down. Only buy a particular size once you've made sure that the next size down is too small. With the fabrics and cuts on jeans these days, a range of two or even three sizes will seem to fit and look good in the dressing room mirror, but you need to go with the smallest size possible.

Lovely NSV Utah, and I so agree with what you say. But NYDJ jeans are very variable in my opinion. I have had 2s fit great and others that say 2 fall off from day one. Then again I have some gorgeous pink NYDJs in the same size that give me a worrying camel claw!

I’ve been thinking of getting the bikini top to go with the bottoms/tankini I bought. I’m probably way beyond the age at which a bikini is a good idea, but even to be tempted counts as a victory .

DO it!! A few years ago I was in pretty good shape, and I allowed myself to walk the beach just like everyone else in my bikini top, stretch marks and all. And I felt like, I am not 18, but for my age group, Im not too bad. It was really nice.

Congrats! This is HUGE!

This is something I have been thinking about doing. I need a high-waisted, control-top skirt for the bottom (too much saggy skin on my belly/thighs) so I think Land's End is going to be the way to go.

My skin tone isn’t what it was when I was 20, but because my highest weight was “only” about 35 lbs heavier than I am now, or maybe just because I was lucky, I haven’t had to deal with loose skin problems

Speaking of loose skin, and I've got some, I noticed Sunday morning when I was blowdrying my hair that my upper arms looked a lot less squishy and floppy. I think my YAYOG workouts are making a real difference. I'm so thankful! I don't know if they'll ever be ready for public display, but they're looking better to me!
