I haven't had a NSV in ages (barely had any SVs either, but getting there).

So, here's my two (!):

1) I have a pair of yoga pants from old navy that I wear for travel and as lounge pants (heavy material, pockets). They are pretty much falling off.

2) You know I've been working out, rowing EOD pretty much now. I've not measured, but I can feel a definite change in my mid-section... I'm always poking and prodding the belly area (sigh) and the texture has changed, and I think, there's less there.

no huge change in jeans or anything yet, but these particular yoga pants are the first sign.

S.

Love the change in the mid section Soren, and it is time to toss out those Yoga pants.

I should know better than to wear red jeans, skinny or not, at my age but I once played Peter Pan and I think something rubbed off.

None of this "at my age" business-- red jeans are perfectly fine, especially if they are slim fitting and cute.

you can definitely wear 1 trendy thing per outfit!

Kissa, rock those red skinnies! You can totally pull that off!

Nikki, soon, you're right!

Flutter, square? You? NO WAY!

Ailuros, options are always great, and I'll bet you're more the red skinny type than you think!

Soren, AWESOME that you're seeing real results! Exercise really can be magical!

Cindy - the spirited lady with the umbrellas in her hair (my favorite avatar of yours!) most definitely can wear red jeans. I bet they look great on you!

Soren - I love that you are seeing progress in the yoga pants and the midsection.

I am very thankful for NSVs right now, as I haven't had any SVs in forever.
So, I have two: one is, my fasting blood sugar level, which last year had me worried as it fell just over the "pre-diabetic" cut off of 100, is down to 94. Much better! Hoping to get it even lower over time.

Also, I'm gearing up for a re-start on Tuesday, and so I took some front, side, and back photos in shorts and a sports bra, as a non-scale way of measuring progress. I was expecting to not like these photos, but although I still have a lot to lose, I can really see the difference with weight work/exercise. I saw myself differently in the photos - and overall what I saw looked better than I thought. I was not expecting that at ALL.

I had a weird NSV yesterday...

I went for a massage, and I could sort of feel that she could get to some muscles easier lol, I need massages about once a month, and I used to feel like "ah geez, all she is feeling is my fat" but yesterday I was actually thinking I wonder if she can tell im down a bit?

I was more comfortable for sure.

I LOVE this! Good for you for being brave enough to take those pics - I'm not! I thought the BodPod guy was going to take some when I went, and he didn't so I didn't say anything. I was dreading that more than anything, I think. I a SOOOOO glad you're liking what you're seeing. I have not doubt that you are looking great!

Wonderful! I'm sure she can feel the difference.

I don't know what the scale is going to say when I weigh Tuesday morning, but I am feeling tighter and trimmer again and it feels great!

When I was leaving my house Saturday afternoon my next door neighbor and his grown son were out in the front yard. As I pulled out of the garage, my neighbor told me "Get out of the truck!" I was like "Um....why?" And he said "You have to get out so my son can see how great you look!" I haven't seen the son in over a year. So I got out and the son's jaw dropped and he wanted to know what I was doing. Awkward, but made me feel great.

Better health is THE best NSV!!! And wonderful to see pictures of yourself (in almost no clothes!) and like them.

So many awesome NSVs.
I went shopping in A.C. And I realized I don't have to settle for clothes that aren't awesome. I can shop anywhere and have loads of choices. Too many awesome clothes to settle for things that are just OK.

I had to do that a lot when I wore a size 20, but not now

I love this thread. You all are rocking this.

I'm sitting here with my sister and I promised her I'd remember to post about dress shopping.

We went to Kohls yesterday because I've donated a ton of dresses and I have no funeral attire. So I'm picking up XXL and 18's even though I've noticed that my face and my stomach look smaller. Everything was falling off so my sister goes back out and comes in with some more dresses and tells me "Don't look at the size just put them on." Needless to say they all fit and they were size 14's. I couldn't believe it. I just started back to EOD's after taking a month off and while I didn't gain any weight throughout the month I was feeling bloated and uncomfortable. So we had a little bright spot and the two of us were dancing around the dressing room and squealing like little girls.

14s!!!!!!!! Girl, that is AWESOMENESS all wrapped up in a bunch of FABULOUSNESS!!!!!!!!! Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me, OTOH, the pants are not lying and screaming out, "STOP EATING!!!" You go on with your bad self!!!!

Silly Flutter. Your size 2's ain't screaming nothin' but fabulous!!!

Awesome NSV's everyone--love that you found out you're even slimmer, Lisa. I know that had to be a bright spot in a sad day.

Kyla, that is amazing too that you are comfortable in your work clothes! I too always change when I come home, but my clothes are much more comfortable now too.

I wore a side tie blouse today with some black slacks, and got many compliments. One of my co-workers said, "You can really tell that you're losing more weight." I haven't lost anything in ages, LOL!!! And I'm not really in smaller sizes either, but it still felt good.
