What great NSV's. So happy to see that so many JB's are doing so well with JUDDD. Congrats Carly on being on the maintain list for a year...you're a hero to lot of us. For some reason I had spaced this thread, so really enjoyed catching up.

Now that I'm back in the groove, I'd like to add another NSV...today, the cardiologist took me off my meds...well, the one for the heart anyway. I know it has to do with the woe and, maybe, the weight I have lost. It's so easy for me to forget that this woe is more than a weight-loss program. It's a healthy way of living, too.

BTW, never knew there was a bony-butt club here. I thought I was the only one getting an "old-lady's behind"

That is a wonderful NSV Mary, things like that are the best, although bony backsides are a kind of bonus too.

Thanks Carol! It went really well! I fit into everything. Shorts, bathing suit. White jeans are a bit baggy, but I'm taking them anyway and hey, baggy pants is always a great NSV! Now I'm all re-packed. Long drive tomorrow so I won't be around much if at all. Maybe a bit in the morning. I'm driving to DS's house. It is his 37th birthday and I get to babysit my cutie grand sons while DS and DDIL go out for a birthday dinner. I can't wait to see those boys!

Woo-Hooo!! And congrats on getting off those meds! You are so right about this being much more than a WL plan. I know I feel healthier! My recent check up and blood work is proof that JUDDD is healthy! And it keeps working to make us healthier!

LOL on the bony butt club! I know I'll be there too in a while. I have no butt. My Dear DD constantly reminds me of this. But some of my jeans are designed to give a bit of a lift which gives the illusion....

Glad everything fit or is baggy. The pants don't lie! I could use some that enhance the butt.

I follow a blogger on FB called Just the Tip. It's not for the faint of heart--lots of vulgar language--so be forewarned if you choose to check it out. Anyway, she's created a couple of t-shirts for sale and I wanted one, but I never order clothing on-line because I still don't know what size I am and don't want to take the risk that the item won't fit. I still don't see myself the size that I am.

Anyway, when I woke up this morning, there were several Valentine's gifts on my desk. DH is awesome! He got me, among other things, a JTT t-shirt. I held it up and thought, "No way is this tiny, medium sized t-shirt going to fit!" So I rushed to try it on, already dreading what it would look like on. Yup, not only does it fit, it's a bit roomy! I plan on wearing it tomorrow and getting a picture, which I will send to JTT and she may or may not share it on her blog.

I'm only two weeks into JUDDDing and have had great scale victories so far, but also great NSV's. The most important to me, as of now, is that the inflammation in my body has all but disappeared. I hold a ton of fluid and get really inflamed quickly. So much so that it is incredibly painful to walk in the mornings or after long bouts of sitting. Previously only low, low carb and zero sugar have taken away the pain, but I could never stick to it long term... but two weeks into JUDDD and the pain is gone! I walk without pain and even better, I'm running without pain!!!

Aw Dawn, you have the sweetest family! I'll have to check JTT out on FB.

And on that shirt fitting! Wonderful! Of course, you know you're the only one who's surprised.

I tried on my size 14 Levi's last night, and they slid on quite nicely. Once buttoned and zipped, they're snug. A little more snug than I like nowadays, but not as tight as I used to wear when I was much younger. I'm debating wearing them today, but don't want to be uncomfortable/unseemly for a gal my age.

Again, amazing NSV's; no pain, T's that are too loose, fitting into the goal jeans (go ahead and wear 'em LCG), looser bras, that's the way to go, all

I've a new one, too. While clearing the clutter around the house, ran across a couple of fanny packs I haven't worn for several years...had to take up the waist about six inches. I couldn't believe it, so I tried on the second one...yep, six inches.

Hey, Frosty, it's okay. We know guys are usually attracted by certain body parts, some the caboose, some other parts. My late dh was a leg guy...he was always picking out mini skirts for me to try on. Of course, that was back in the day when we wore heels all day long. Now I wear flats and midi or maxi dresses.

I wore the jeans today! They "gave" a little as the day went along, and weren't so tight after all. Just right!

Brainardt, wonderful news about reduced inflammation! This WOE really is miraculous that way.

Carrie Jayne, less pain is pretty miraculous too! Woohoo!

Where's Kyla, it's so nice when bras actually fit and don't bind! Wonderful@

Katie, you're rockin' it! WTG!

Mary, loose fanny packs are great! Must've felt fabulous to do that!

Yeah, I like legs and backsides. Don't really care about boobage. That's why I haven't commented on all the talk of shrinkage boobs. My offer to help bra shop still stands, though.
