question regarding exercise calories burned

if you burn 300 calories exercising, do you allow yourself 300 more food calories? or do you stick with your original number?

In WLM I didn't count exercise calories and never ate them back. Now that I'm maintaining, I'm a little more lax about it.

Rather than a strict rule (which I always want to rebel against...), I decided that if I get hungry on exercise days I will eat just a little extra snack - 100-300 cals. Usually doesn't happen on UD, but it is good for me to have that flexibility on DD.

Now, I am not exercising much - 2 days weightlifting for 45 min and 1 day about 2 hrs of tennis. Since I am not in WLM, my 2 DD per week can be very flexible so I try not to exercise on DD. Or try not to have a DD on an exercise day...LOL
