Down Day Sunday - Plans?

I am water fasting again. What with doing this weird 4-day rotation thing to try and figure out some food sensitivities, it is just easier.

I'm finding I am falling into a rhythm of activities on my Down Days to go along with not so much eating. I take a long bath, walk the dogs extra, do projects, run errands; all activities which make it easier to to stay away from eating.

Any one else have activities they save for Down Days?

I'm going to shake up my DD just a bit today. We'll see how it works.

B: Coffee w/FF cocoa (probably 2 big mugs)
L: 3 egg whites and 1 egg scrambled
D: Salmon patties
D: Chobani

Target: 500 or less and 64g protein

I don't really have anything I save for DDs, Sirtain. I have noticed that I prefer to run errands on DDs because it keep me running and away from food, although sometimes just driving by a restaurant with the good smells in the air is tough.

My favorite thing on a DD is to take a nice long nap. That's not an option most DDs, but today, it may just be in the cards!

I kind of wish I had saved the cleaning I did yesterday for today. However, I have to work tomorrow and I didn't want to wait. There's plenty more I *could* do, if I wanted. I do save my DDs for running errands on my lunch hour, and it works perfectly. I was able to get my tire fixed on Thursday, although it was a UD now that I think about it lol (I skipped lunch). Lunch hours seem really long on DDs without errands to run.

B-coffee w/SF creamer

No plans yet for the rest of today

I don't really save any activities for my DDs either. It's great that you'll be able to do that! I am going to do some laundry and run a couple of errands today, but then be totally lazy and watch movies.

Not sure of a plan for today. Trying to decide if I should do a slow cooker pot roast today or if it will be too tempting to overeat. I could wait till tomorrow. Hmmmmm.......

A little embarrassed by how many "re-starts" I've posted. lol Anywhoo, I've been bouncing back and forth the same 5 to 8 lbs the past couple of months, but maybe eventually I figure out how to get it back in gear.

Hey, JB, glad to "see" you pop in!!!

sirtain, I normally just try to stay busy doing errands on DDs. It helps to stay busy!

Well, my PLANS for today were stomped all over by my evil, mean, rotten, sabotaging husband!!!!! I had my normal "just coffee w/ sf creamer" all morning, then threw a roast with veggies in the crock pot for the family's dinner. Figured I'd have a few bites of carrot & beef for dinner with them. The beastly man then proceeded to make HOME MADE bread & chocolate cake. <thud> {sigh} Needless to say, I ended up with my aforementioned few bites of carrot & beef along with a piece of homemade bread plus a few too many bites of the chocolate cake. (which, btw, he forgot to add flour in but miss chocoholic here still loved...it's like hot pudding, ugh!!!) <this should be in the cheat thread, huh?>

Homemade bread, that's just evil, Melinda! Haha!!!

Today must have been a pot roast day, I made one in the crockpot, too. I didn't eat anything all day, I saved up so I could have as much as I wanted. I had a plate of zucchini and mushrooms first, then 6 oz of pot roast. It turned out to be a huge meal for 270 calories! Gosh, if I'd known roast were that low cal, I would have made one sooner. I'm going to measure out DD leftovers out of it. I thickened the juice into gravy with gluc powder and it turned out amazing!

Tammy has a happy tummy.... And enough calories left for dessert later!

He made the trendy "flourless" chocolate cake by mistake! Oh well, at least you are in maintenance and can skip a DD or two every now and again. I skipped yesterday's DD altogether!
