WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
UD Sunday - What's your plan?

Well, I weighed in a bit higher the last couple of days, even though I've been having really good rotations. I saw 145 a couple of times and have decided I'd like my bounce to be 145 as the high. So today I'm shaking things up with a higher UD.

B: Going to our favorite breakfast place. Train Wreck (cottage potatoes with bacon, cheese, bell peppers and onions, all mixed together) and biscuits and gravy. I'm thinking somewhere around 1000 calories!

L: ?? I'm going to visit my friend's mother. She's dying of brain cancer. She was my second mother all through high school, the one I'd call if I was having trouble at home. She would come pick me up and let me stay with her (even when my friend went off to college) until things calmed down. So, I'll be on the road and will eat when/if I feel like it. My friend's sister will be there, so I might ask if she wants to go get something.

D: ?? No clue, yet!

I hope you have a good visit. It is so important to have those auxiliary mothers in our lives. My sympathies for you, and your friend and mother. What a hard time to be going through.

I'm so sorry about your friend's mom. Such hardship. You're wonderful for going to see her, and I know it will be difficult.

I how you say your bounce is a bit high for your taste so you're gonna eat more today! And I that that is how JUDDD can work!

Weighed in this morning. I'm O.K with it, a loss is a loss. Started our Holiday baking today. Ate a few cookies, then put 11 dozen cookies and four loaves of banana bread in the freezer. I told my dh he could put a few in a ziplock to have on another UP day. Next thing I know he has about 10 cookies stuffed into a small ziplock. His reasoning- "I can have two on every up day until Thanksgiving". Gotta love him.
cooked a turkey today, his choice. We will be eating a lot of turkey for awhile.

I'm cooking a spiral ham tonight for dinner. I'm making my own glaze so I'm hoping it's less sweet than the glaze that came in the packet. Saving some calories for pumpkin pie for dessert!

Kismet311. What is your glaze recipe? Have not decided if I want to use the one I have that came with my spiral ham. Always looking for new ideas.

I had a good ud. Bacon and egg for breakfast. Flour less chocolate cake for lunch. Filet mignon and half a burger for dinner with sauté mushrooms and Zuchinni in butter. Lots of wine.

I put mixed up some splenda brown sugar, diet ginger ale and a bit of pineapple juice in a pot and heated it until it thicked up a little. Then I poured it over the ham. The directions on the ham said to brush on the packet glaze the last half hour of cooking so that's what I did with my glaze. It didn't come out too crusty or sugary so i thought it was pretty good.

had a good UPP day

Gotta love Joli's husand's thinking! Cookies a go go

Everyone's food sounds good. Here's what I had 1,200 calories according
to "My Plate"

2 tbs. HWC with coffee
2 small steamed lobsters
3 tbs. melted butter
1 medium baked potato with the works

I probably will have a cup of Tuscan soup tonight
2 c. Sleigh Ride tea (thank you Chavez)
Gotta have the HWC with it.

Thank you Carol and Sirtain. I was mistaken about my friend's mom's diagnoses. She has lung cancer which has spread to her liver (not her brain, like I thought). She's been undergoing treatment since last summer, but has decided to forego any more chemo or radiation. They've given her 3 weeks to 6 months so time is short. I was happy to spend some time with her today and offer support to my friend's sister as well, though it's hard to say goodbye.

I then had lunch with another friend since I was in my hometown.

I ate poorly today, but not tooooo badly. I'm finishing up at 2421 calories and 126 grams of protein.
