Yup, those men can be quite the saboteurs!!! (Have to say, though, my DH is pretty supportive of this WOE as it actually works!)

Held our annual Halloween Party this weekend. Ran out of time to cook dinner so hubby picked up a pizza on his way home from work. Had 2 pieces of pizza for dinner then just gave up completely. Figured Iíve already screwed up and I have put so much work into a bunch of food that I can't even eat that I may as well enjoy myself. A bottle of wine and a bunch of munchies later I woke up Sunday with a massive booze/carb hangover and up 2.5lbs. So what did I do Sunday? Ate the left over pizza, Doritos, binged on Almond Roca and French onion soup for dinner.. Wow!
I finished the weekend off by gaining 3.5lbs. Feel like garbage today, so back on track and ZERO plans for a cheat until at least December (including wine).
Keeping Carbs down extra low and drinking tons of water to flush out the system.

Wow, just so easy to do, isn't it? At least with JUDDD, the damage is undone fairly quickly!!

YK, I always say 2 DDs is all it takes to undo damage, but I am still up 3-5# from a week ago Saturday's UUAD. Even vacation weight gain hasn't taken me but 2 rotations to get down from. I guess one just never knows!

Mike, you crack me up!

But Friday I had a really good day at the gym and overall felt great, and I attributed it to having some extra MCT oil in my bulletproof coffee, so I decided to abandon the refeed until I really need it. Then Saturday, on a road trip to visit a college with my daughter I got a sugar free vanilla latte at Starbucks, not really thinking about how many carbs are in whole milk, and just like that I was out of ketosis. So I decided later that night that since I was already out I should not waste the opportunity and just go all out, so I had a pumpkin muffin, iced cinnamon bun and 2 chocolate donuts, and that was after wings for dinner!

Didn't regret it, and I actually felt great the next day at the gym and all day. Zero negative after effects, no noticeable bloating. And I swear I woke up looking like I had been to the gym, all my muscles full from the carbs. And since I'm not weighing all of November I have no clue if I had a bounce or not, and I'm not worried about it because if I did it would be gone by the time I do check my weight.

So instead of a cheat, I'm calling it a Glycogen Replenishment Event (GRE)!
I like how you turned it into a positive. That's your story and you stick to it! I have decided that I will do a GRE every day.

So my attempt with DD today did not turn well. It was another UUAD, but so be it. When my hormones settle down I will start my rotations again. Right now I am treating this whole situation as if I was on a holiday and not doing rotations That's the best way I can deal with this without stressing myself out.
Hope everyone had a good day!

DWs can be too. She will bring all kinds of stuff home that I don't need if I'm not firm about telling her not to get whatever it is for me.

I was thinking that way too. I rarely get to go away on vacation, so I just told myself, these three days are your vacation. I think you'll be fine. The more you stress about it, the worse it can get sometimes.

I know what you mean! I am thankful that I don't really care for sweet cereal, because BF loves it! Most of the time, I can even ignore his candy on a DD.

I've been sticking with my rotation very well -- DDs are pretty good if I don't eat anything until dinner, and then it's yogurt or cottage cheese, right around 100 cals. My UDs however are bad. I haven't been counting calories on UDs but mentally I KNOW I'm just stuffing myself. Having the Halloween candy around doesn't help (no, we don't hand it out!). This week is 'hormonal', so I'm not over-thinking the issue but I need to get back into doing things right. I'm still happy with my results thus far, and have moved my size 12 pants closer to the front of the closet cuz that day is a'comin!!!

Oh dear, Talking of cheating and confessions, I'm afraid I have a big one! I went to visit my family on the east coast in mid Sept at 158.4 and came back a month later at a whopping 166.6! All due to carbs (sweets and breads etc). Came back on 18 Oct and continued the trend! Then Holloween came and all that left over candy in the house! Yesterday, I weighed myself I was 171.6 Well, I knew it was time to clean up my act for I had been 154.4 at the beginning of April when I went to India on vacation! I have never put on so much weight in a month on any of my previous vacs! Really fallen off the wagon this time!

Sweets and bread binges have to stop! Yesterday, I went for a 13+ mile walk and had the best DD ever 125 Cal! I have a feeling, I have to go the same route as many of the JB on the board are doing, go LC with Juddd. By the way, I did pack the remaining candy and sweets from Diwali with my daughter to take to work. Hoping for a new start! Best of luck to all.

Thank you all for words of encouragement and the "welcome back"! That's why I you guys, you are my "pick me ups"! LG, yesterday I did 13.45 miles in 3.23 hrs. I go 3.9 -4.2 miles/hr, depending on how I feel. The cooler weather helps. Funny thing is, this walk was after having just a cup of tea (with milk of course - about 32 cal) and I felt fantastic! Now if only I can keep the carbs down, I should be OK.

All I can think of is how badly I would have to use the ladies room after drinking tea and walking for 3+ hours...

Stupid candy. gets me every time!!! I'd never have been overweight if it weren't for that stuff. Hang in there girl! I wish I could throw Jenna's out, however, she has lots of control over that kind of thing. Sometimes I wonder how she's my daughter. (I am so happy for her, though!)

I also have a son who says, "mama, you know I am not a sugar fan."
Where did he get that?!?? He is 6. At six I was already a big fan of sugar.

Well, I will be cheating big time this weekend!
Going to Disneyland and I can never say no to a "free" breakfast at a hotel.
I don't plan to go crazy, but there will not be a DD in sight.

Have a blast! We're going to go for Keira's birthday in December and then not renew our annual passes this year. We've been probably five or six times this year. That's enough for a while.

I definitely cheated this weekend! I went for a two day wine tour with some girlfriends and definitely splurged. Saturday was an UD, but yesterday was plenty an UD too! Obviously my biggest splurge was wine, but i had a lot of carbs, too, which I haven't been having. I'm back on track today with a great LC DD. I was going to try to switch back to my normal days rotation by doing two DDs in a row, but I have heard that's not always the best idea, plus if I just get right back into EOD, that'll put both of my Thanksgiving dinners on an UD, which makes more sense.

I honestly love how this plan makes it so easy to get back on track.

Been on a horrible carb binge

One week and heaven's only knows.

It's so bad for the diabetes and everything else in my life.

Put in an order to Netrition for some supplies and I have told
myself that tomorrow is LC Atkins induction.
