so frustrated!

My girlfriend is doing "LC" for about two weeks now. I use the quotes cause she does great with the food but still has
a large mountain dew every night at dinner and wonders why she is gaining weight?!?! I keep telling her she is sabotaging herself but she insists that the 46 grams of carbs in the soda isn't that much...... * face palm * now she says LC is crap and doesn't work. Honestly, I could just scream!

She's not even doing LC if she drinks a Mountain Dew!!! Aaaaaaargh!

I don't blame you for going nuts. She's denying herself all day long, probably would have some phenomenal losses if she just didn't have that one thing every night. Crazy!

Did you tell her that the MD has double plus the amount of carbs she should eat in any one day? "Not that much" is plenty enough to wreck an otherwise terrific plan. As we all know only too well.

I'm just glad that YOU are on the right path. And not insane like your friend. No offense.

Oh no offense taken. She isn't the brightest bulb in the closet, but GEEZ! And don't go spouting off that LC doesn't work when, in fact, you are NOT doing LC. BLAH!!!!

One of the librarians here did "LC" a few times, and actually lost weight. However, she never ditched her sweet tea with meals. Tell your friend she can drink MD every other day, if she doesn't go over 500 on the other days.
