Yesterday was rough! My first "real" DD, but I did okay. Not great. I went over my cal limit a little bit, but I woke up with a loss so I think I didn't do THAT much damage. *fingers crossed* Also, hubby came home with some sweet tea and sweet heat bbq chips! Grrr..he's so mean!
So my UD looks like this:

B-Coffee, water, sunny side up eggs on toast
l-tuna sandwich
d-taco mac, I think. (will watch portions)

Lots of water and tracking all my calories!

**posted this in the wrong place like a big ole goof!***

Skipped breakfast. Early birthday lunch at Carrino's with a girlfriend and DH. Had some lovely bread (and olive oil with garlic), part of a salad and some chicken bowtie pasta. I ate less than half of that. Will probably have the leftovers later tonight at work. Had no problem making my calories today I'm sure. Dh and I wieghed in on Monday. I'm down 5.5 pds since we start two weeks ago. Dh is down 3. I think his problem is that he is not eating anywhere near the calories he should be. He just does not eat that much.

Get him a six-pack of beer. Or make sure he eats the fattier cuts of meat, and drown his veggies in butter and cheese.

Went to a blues festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London today which was really good, especially as its hubby that is in to that sort of music not me!

Because of this we had breakfast and dinner out....I skipped lunch so tomorrows weigh in will be interesting, I did a fair bit of walking though so hopefully that might help!!

Take care all...xx

Eek, I wasn't hungry enough today!

B: 3 sausage links (180)
L: Atkins chicken Marsala (390)
D: Parmesan halibut, cabbage w/butter (322)
S: 7 layer cookie (257)
S: "pizza" melted cheese, pepperoni, olives (133)

1282 total, but my target is 1900. I even had a cookie and added butter to dinner! Is it true that I need to try for at least a 1000 calorie difference from my UD and DD, right? Or am I misunderstanding that? I hate to get in the habit of eating when I'm not hungry.

I've read here and there that the 1000 calorie spread is important, but I can't remember where other than here I saw it. I wouldn't worry too much about eating when you're not hungry right now. You need to get those calories in to stoke the metabolism. We all have to rein it in a bit as we move forward and get smaller, but it shouldn't be too much deprivation. Plus, I'll bet your appetite will kick back into a more normal range in the coming weeks.

You can always add NUTS to your Up Day menu. I swear, nuts have so many calories a little bag could get you where you need to be easily.
