Having trouble maintaining

Hey guys! I haven't been on in a while but I'm back because there's nothing like the support from the JUDDD forum. Anyhow, I'm having trouble maintaining using the 5:2 method. I'm up three lbs (and have been) since coming back from a weekend in South beach. That was almost five weeks ago. I'm consistently weighing between 137.2 and 138.8. Should I go back to the EOD rotation or do 5:3 until I get back down to 135??

Thanks in advance.

I keep trying different things in maintenance, and it seems that whatever I try works to get off a few "splurge" pounds. I think it's more about shaking it up than anything else, for ME. What seems to work the fastest, though, is to go back to EOD rotations at the numbers for weight loss. Once those few pounds are off, I can go right back to maintenance numbers and have no problems (until the next "splurge" weekend).

Yep, exactly what Dawn said!!!! No biggie, shouldn't take long and then right back to maintenance levels you go!

Thanks everyone for responding. Back to EOD I go for a bit. I think in the long haul 4:3 will be best, in terms of maintaining.

Love your family photo!
I maintain well with 5:2, but rarely have high UDs. I'm on vacation now and eating quite a lot. I will do EOD rotations when I get back to correct any damage. I suspect it will be sizable :o
