I re-started October 1st after a long time on and off, love hate relationship with LC.

I've learned that if I don't eat a good dinner with nutritious foods, I can barely make it through the DD the next day. My DDs have been closer to 600 most days, but I'm losing streadily. I did fluctuate after being sick, but I only went back up a pound - it'll probably be gone tomorrow

You'd think it was my last meal
I think last night I finally realized after dinner when I asked my BF if he wanted a cookie (I bought cookie dough, bad plan) and the cookie sheet was dirty... sooooooo, I put a bunch of the dough on a pie plate, and made one big cookie... I brought it in the living room, and looked at it like... "well, this is out of control!" So he enjoyed it, and I went to bed.

It was a rock bottom moment LOL!

This past weekend I bought two individual apple pies (2 for 1.00 lol), and a carton of ice cream. My favorite dessert for the past few months. I ate one with a couple of scoops of ice cream, then later I ate another pie straight out of the fridge and it was nasty (I usually heat them up), then I got up and got another bowl of ice cream. BF said, Didn't you just eat some? Plus, last week a co-worker bought bags and bags of halloween candy and put them around the office in bowls and I ate and ate and ate it, like there was no tomorrow. Both of those days of indulgence were UDs, but I am sick of being out of control with sugar. I need this detox bad.

Cindy, I haven't had time to stalk the board for a while and I was delighted to come and read this thread this evening. You are really turning a corner.

No one here likes to preach, and JUDDD works for all of us in different ways, but I have often wondered why you continued on your 'sugar kick' when you were trying so very hard to lose this weight. I have so much respect for your endeavours and I'm just over the moon that you have had this 'epiphany'. Sugar is the very devil for many of us. Darn it!

I don't know, Kissa. I thought I could still enjoy desserts on UDs within my calories, but apparently not. I don't miss it (yet) and am loving LC so far!

Thank you, Goner! I tried half-heartedly a few times since I've been JUDDDing to do LC, but my heart wasn't in it and it didn't even last a full day. I also felt overwhelmed trying to clean up my diet and not knowing where to start. When I made a commitment to LC, my diet naturally got cleaner and the junk food is over.
