I'm going back to higher DDs to combat my Raynaud's symptoms.

ETA: I just remembered we have a parent/teacher conference this evening, so dinner will be late. I'll probably throw in another Quest bar as a mid-afternoon snack.

Thanks Kris! That's my "puppy," Lily. She really is just a puppy, but nobody believes it. :hyst: She was my goal reward for getting to maintenance in January. I'm thinking eventually she will weigh as much as I lost. :o

Thanks Cindy for noticing, before I decided the shirt I was was wearing looked a tad bit too tight and revealed there was a chill in the air, so I changed my avi photo...again. ;):o

Librarygirl 10-21-2013 01:29 PM

Ann! I definitely did not notice that!

SlimNana 10-21-2013 01:38 PM

:hyst:

I didn't notice it myself until I cropped off my legs to make the photo bigger. It may just be I'm too self conscious, but it's one of the main reasons that I'm dreading the return of chilly DDs again this fall/winter! :o

Flutter 10-21-2013 01:58 PM

Awww, you look wonderful slim!!!

I'd kill for that waist!!

LoCarbGal 10-21-2013 02:55 PM

You really do look so trim and fantastic Ann! I don't think the shirt is too tight and didn't notice the other.

SlimNana 10-21-2013 03:46 PM

Thanks gals! I'm so not looking forward to having to bring out the heavy sweaters to wear for the next six months, which make me look 20 lbs. heavier.
:annoyed:

JoLi 10-21-2013 04:49 PM

SlimNana, if your referring to what I think your referring to, you can buy items that would help with that. You can then wear your t-shirts without any "glaring" issues. No need to bring out the bulky sweaters.

SlimNana 10-21-2013 05:31 PM

Really? I'm not aware of anything, other than a padded bra. I'm afraid of what will come up, if I try a google search for anything using the word nipple. :D

KeirasMom 10-21-2013 05:37 PM

I wear "t-shirt" bras which are lightly padded, but more for camouflage than actually increasing bust size. They also have little stick on things to minimize the "headlight" effect. I've seen those at Target and Walmart. :D These are things I think about too.

Flutter 10-21-2013 05:59 PM

It's maddening to have to worry about the headlight thing, isn't it? Mine never recovered after my 3rd kid. I would have been fine after 2! Hmph!

Came over to update my menu: ended up with 2 40 cal slices of provolone wrapped around some turkey breast. My middle son was begging for baked apple slices, though, so I have some in the oven. I am sure I'll end up sampling some. I will be good!!!

Librarygirl 10-21-2013 06:12 PM

Baked apples sound good, Flutter!! I can imagine some baked with cinnamon and butter, then used as a topping over carb smart vanilla ice cream. ;)

Librarygirl 10-21-2013 06:16 PM

I had my chicken breast, roasted squash w/parmesan cheese, and 1/2 c. black eyed peas. Scrumptious! I'm at 320 calories! :)

SlimNana 10-21-2013 06:20 PM

Thanks Dawn for sharing your solution, and a much safer google search for a prude like me! I've never liked the lumpy look of a padded bra before, but I dislike seeing visible nipples on Nana even more. :o

Sorry for the thread hijack discussion, but it was a good DD distraction to help get me past 8pm. My teeth are now brushed and I've gotten under the blankets in bed to watch dancing with the stars.

Sweet dreams of tomorrow's UD! ~ Ann

Sounds super yummy!!!

Yea, the baked apples were delish! Bit of butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup & sprinkled with pecan pieces. I had 5 slices, what is that, 1/2 an apple? whoops!!!

Oooh well....(I'm in maintenance, I'm in maintenance, I'm in maintenance...) <easing the guilt monster>

Librarygirl 10-21-2013 06:58 PM

Yummo!! Yes, you are in maintenance, so I think you'll be fine.:hugs:I hope you and all the other maintainers will still be around when I get there for advice!
