so i weighed myself again

after my UD just as a curiosity. what results do you usually get if you weigh after an UD?

on my second DD. so far so good. only had a cuppa with HWC so far.... holding out til 2 for my next something.

Check out the September Weighers thread and see the up and down bounces! In 5+ months of JUDDDing... I have only NOT bounced up in weight after an UD twice.

mafiamom 10-18-2013 10:51 AM

will do, thanks! and good - i was nervous.....

Slimming-up 10-18-2013 11:12 AM

Early on my bounce was about 1- 2 lb.
Now (3 months later) it's often just .5 lb or less, but sometimes it's still a full pound.
I even had a loss after UD once!

mafiamom 10-18-2013 11:15 AM

mine was 1/2 lb. not a lot, but not what i wanted to see. i dont think i will weigh after UD anymore.

I didn't weigh after UDs for a loooooonnnnggg time. I just couldn't take it. Now it really doesn't bother me. I'm not crazy about it, but I understand it now and know it's not fat, but water, residual food in my intestinal tract, etc. You'll get there.

thank you so much for this!

when you noticed a stall, did you make any changes or did you just keep doin' what you were doin'?

interesting how a you sometimes dont see the increase of you UD until AFTER your next DD. must take the body a bit longer to catch up than i thought.

This was so good for me to see, as the fluctuations can really cause discouragement. it is so hopeful that, when looked at as a whole, the loss is so significant, even with all the stalls and creep ups.

the moral of the story??? stick with it for the long hauls! thanks again for sharing and let me just say, i am very impressed!!

Yes, even though it seems like we're gaining and losing every day, it's the result of days not just one. I find that a good DD might not help me the next day, but will help me after the UD sometimes. It has never failed to stop the complaining though. :D

I do the bounce. It's fine with me as long as my weekly weight is a little less than the previous week!

I just kept going. I never did any "shake ups" or hacks. I never eliminated certain foods or anything. I just had faith in JUDDD and rotated. My body was going to do what it was going to do and if I was faithful to my rotations I was going to lose weight. I enjoyed my life and only had to diet EOD. What gets better than that?

mafiamom 10-18-2013 07:41 PM

I like the going week by week idea. Plus I have always read that the slower the weight comes off the longer the weight STAYS off.

I like that. I hope when I get to a stall, I have the willpower to do that! I always get so discouraged when the numbers don't move. However, JUDDD is proving to not be like anything else I've tried so I have more faith in my WOE.

Dr. Johnson's book came

Trying to read a bit each evening at quiet time.

He says NO to weighing after an UPP day. It only makes
sense. He thinks once a week is sufficient due to all the fluctuations
that most people go through.
