Hey, This Works!

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all of the welcome messages on the October Newbie thread! I just wanted to check in today to say that I just love this way of eating and I'm sorry I didn't find it earlier.

I started my first DD on 10/2 at 200 pounds. Just weighed myself today, about 10 days later, and I'm 195 pounds! I can't believe it!

I know that it is probably water, and everything is going to slow down soon, but man, how encouraging to see a 5 pound loss while still being able to eat normally half of the time. I even had a friend staying with me from out of town - I told her that I was doing intermittent fasting and she was totally cool with it. We went out to dinner and had drinks on my UD's and I still lost weight. Unbelievable.

Anyway, I'm really glad I found JUDDD. So many years I've wasted going back and forth between Atkins induction and calorie counting and never really getting anywhere. I'm glad that's over now!

Angie I love seeing Newbies discovering the wonder of feeling 'normal' and being able to join friends and family for dinners and occasions.

I am delighted that it is going so well for you, do check in and tell the other Octotber Newbies, it is so important to share our successes, that is why I still check in here almost daily. The support is part of the magic for me.

That's great, Angie!!

Be proud of those 5 lbs. I always think that even if it is "just water" that I've lost, that's a few pounds less water volume that'll be filling out my clothes! .
