DOWN DAY FRIDAY...WHAT'S TO EAT?

Some of you BUDDS mentioned last week about using Lean Cuisine for DD.
I bought 4 of them. 150/170/2@ 200 calories. Will let you all know how
I do tomorrow and give you the details on the meals.

For me today:
B: Special K bar and Trop50 orange juice 120c
L: Leafy salad plus Muller crunch corner 200c
D: Marmite on toast 260c

Total: 580c... but it's Friday... so we'll see!

What's to eat? My head says "Notalot!" but my stomach's already hungry!

So:
Black tea with skim milk till around 7pm.
Then 1 sesame Ryvita with lovely French chaource cheese for 100 cals.
Another Ryvita and cheese around 10.30pm, so I don't go to bed hungry.

Total with milk in tea should be less than 300. That's the plan .......

And in case anyone's concerned about the nutritional aspect of this menu. I'm looking forward to a mountain of veggies with my dinner tomorrow!

Barbo, I've used Lean Cuisine a lot for DDs. I save most of my calories for the evening meal and don't have bs issues. I like the chicken one with little ricey things or maybe it's pasta and cranberries.

Coffee this morning...

Only working 1/2 day, and heading up north, so maybe I'll bring some celery & laughing cow to crunch on.

Dinner... Either DH will talk me into going out, since there isn't much in the fridge at the cottage, or we'll cook some frozen patties on the GF grill.

I'll try to save the wine & ice cream until tomorrow's UD! but that tends to be our typical "treat" while relaxing up there on the weekends...

Scarlett - at the cottage for the weekend??? Sounds amazing!

My tummy is still off. That tends to mess up my blood sugar, so I will have to be very careful today. Probably on the higher side.

Options:

2 eggs/toast 210c
tomato/snap pea/cauli salad 140c
Deli Ham 50c

I have protein shakes if needed 180c and a protein granola bar 190c I will use if my blood sugar tanks!

No matter, IT IS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about it but as long as I can get through these weeks where I have Monday & Friday DD's (the 2 days' I work a full day so 8.30am-5.30pm) I reckon I can cope with just about anything... plus it means we get to go to the pub for tea tomorrow night

The BF and I have a few things to grab for the Warrior Dash tomorrow, so we're gonng eat out - probably Panera Bread, half a turkey sandwich on country bread and a cup of potato or broccoli soup? We'll see, I researched, and that's under 500

A few calories left so a 70 cal snack if needed.

1 bag cabbage shredded for coleslaw
2 Tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
4 oz corned beef

Throw it all in a frying pan, cook the coleslaw down a bit and, presto, you got yourself a "Pseudo-Breadless-Reuben"!!!!

Cabbage soup! - 3rd DD this week, and it's working like a charm keeping me full.
In fact, the soup is so filling, I don't feel a need for much else.

Well, shoot. I forgot that I was going out to a friend's house this evening. So, instead of a protein shake, I will probably have the toppings off a few slices of pizza, and some salad. Everything else stayed the same.

Actually the hunger went off and I didn't eat till 9pm.
However, I did share a small bottle of my son's excellent homebrew with DH for an extra 75 cals.

I hated the Lean Cuisine. The beef had the wrong texture and it tasted weird.
Will try another one on Monday which is DD for me.
Today is medium day:

One gluten free pancake
1/4 c. apple diced
1 egg
1 Jimmy Dean sausage patty
coffee with creamer and lot's of waters.

Dinner:
2 oz. steak
1 c. green beans
Roasted red peppers
Home made sugar free LC custard made with Hood Dairy LC milk.
Relaxing Tea
