WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
10/01 - weighted hula hoop X 10 min.
10/02 - Rest day
10/03 - weighted hula hoop X 12.5 min., moved cases and cases of soda/water/etc. at work.
10/04 - Rest day
10/05 - County fair--lots of walking to counteract lots of eating!
10/06 - weighted hula hoop X 15 min.

Carol, I feel like someone already asked you and I saw the answer, but I don't remember what it was--do you do your hula hooping all at once, or do you spread it out throughout the day? I did 15 minutes this morning and can't imagine doing much more than that all at the same time.

I've done it both ways, actually. Lately I've been waking up early (not intentionally) and have taken advantage of the extra time to hula hoop for an hour or so. But before that was happening, I'd do 15 to 30 minutes in the morning, maybe 10 late afternoon, and 15 or 20 in the evening.

I know what you mean about 15 minutes seeming like a long time. It did to me at first too. I like to do it in front of the TV, so at first I shot for doing it through a whole 1/2 hour show. Then I realized I could do more. If I'm really into what I'm watching, the time just flies by.

Thanks Carol. I'll have to see how it goes. We have a small living room, so I have to do it when nobody's going to be walking back and forth to the kitchen!

Nice work everyone with the first week of October! Fall is my favorite time of year to work out, I just love being outside and the fresh air, the leaves turning, and everything else!

Dawn--the fair workout sounds like my type of workout! Walking and eating! Awesome!

Well, I had the eating part down! I don't think I walked nearly enough to burn off all that I ate.

The hills were "expert" level - moderate hills? That was a total lie. With all the dust, I went into a asthma fit, but my BF calmed my down, and we finished, doing all the obstacles except the monkey bars - I can't do those yet, but I got another in April, I'll try then

I am so glad to find this thread. The one thing I was wondering is would DD hurt my workouts. I do some weight training, running and elliptical. I have a 5k race coming up and I didn't want to crash. So I see a lot of you are working out. Do you do mostly protein on your DD to keep from losing muscle? I am heading downstairs to lift some weights and do the elliptical before work and yesterday was a dd so I hope i make it. Ha. I just started JUDDD this week.
