[QUOTE=LiLi914;16640436]I was at the gym this morning and a lady was talking about how frustrated she was that her fellow gym buddy was losing weight faster than she is. Apparently they are not speaking right now which I personally find ridiculous. It just made me think about how different we all are and no matter how motivated one is and how much support we have the weight comes off at it's own pace. Of course that's hard to embrace at times, but I just wanted to say I'm so proud of all the hard work everyone puts in and I'm so grateful to have all you JB's in my life.

OMG!! I needed to get back to this LCF soooo bad this afternnon !!! We had company all wkend!!! I wasn't super bad or super good....HUMAN!!!!Just the thought of getting on here and readng all of your stories made my day and makes me know I will keep on keeping on!!! Tho I may wait a wk to weigh myself...LOL!!

We all do it Wendy! It will be fine, this is not a race. All that will happen is that you reach goal a little more slowly.

Happy Monday all! Just stopping in the daily chat post again! Sounds like everyone is having a great October so far!

I am doing my first surgery tomorrow, a spay on a little kitty named Tulip. I know it will go great but still kind of nervous. It still feels so weird knowing that I am doing surgery...on a living creature. She is a wonderful kitty and I am going to have so much trouble not wanting to take her home with me.

I just started JUDDD recently. I had some good news today that makes me very happy. I had to do a health screening a work in order to get better health insurance options if I have to take it through work next year. All my labs came back in the normal range, good cholesterol, bad, tryglycerides etc. I was 1 tenth of a point to be classified as obese! whew! My A1c was just on the line. Will have to work on that.
I always find it helpful to know where I stand-lab wise when I start new WOE.

Alex! She's adorable! I'm not even that wild about cats, but awwwwww! No offense to my cat-lover JBs. It's mostly due to being highly allergic. Achoo!

You'll do great. And so will Tulip (love that name too!)

Oh yes that is a little beauty. You will do a wonderful job on her I am certain.

I have 2 wonderful Norwegian Forest cats, both neutered queens. The older one had 2 litters, and it was so hard saying goodbye to all the babies...which I why we have 2 NFCs.

Sorry you are allergic Carol.

I just looked at my numbers at my current weight and age.

Normal Calories* = 1439 kcal/d
Down Day Calories = 288 kcal/d

Thanks ladies! She is a wonderful cat. I think they have her aged at 6 mos old. Her claws are extremely long, which I experienced today during her initial assessment (not too many scratches, though). They will be clipped to a better length tomorrow after surgery. There is a decent chance that I may have a new roommate after this week and that she will be coming home with me.

Alex, you will end up with a lot of 'room mates' in your chosen profession I imagine.

I know what you mean about their claws. Mine have had their claws clipped (by me) since they were kitties. A bit scary doing it to a wriggly 7 week old kitten but now, 14 and 12 years old, they are used to it and don't mind at all.

JoLi that is awesome. Those results are only going to get better from here on out.

Alex, Tulip is in great hands. As someone who is severely allergic to cats even I have to say that she's a cutie.

The dentist went well and the numbness has finally worn off. I'm going to take a Motrin, watch The Voice and pass out. I went a little crazy in Old Navy today due to the Columbus Day weekend sale so thank god for Verizon rebate credit cards.

I had a great DD yesterday. I waited all day to eat, drank and obscene amount of water, and ate my dinner - 1 1/2 cup of chicken casserole, and I was stuffed! Things are getting easier

ladyB - glad to hear your DDs are getting easier. I too find it easier to wait till late afternoon to eat and it makes a DD much more managable.

My bra is too big!! Insert sad face here.

I refuse to post this as an NSV because I love my boobies. I typically don't lose around the boob area or maybe I just don't remember, but we've been together so long I'm just not ready to part with them.

Lisa, I hear you. Mine are quite a bit smaller than when I weighed 200 pounds. They aren't small, but they sure aren't huge anymore.

On another note... I'm officially on vacation! I walked out of work at 6:45pm knowing that I don't go back until 10/28

Seriously, I love my job, but boy, I really need a vacation! We leave for Florida on Tuesday morning. Gulf coast beaches here we come! I will be walking miles every day on the soft white sand!

Flexible!

Lisa, I hear you on losing cuppage. I've lost some there too, but I still have quite a bit and I think I look more proportionate with them shrinking a bit. I don't want to lose too much more there though!

Wendy, that's quite a way to go, but for a good therapist and to get the help, I'm sure it's worth it.

Carly, enjoy your vacation!!! Those beaches sound heavenly!

I just want to apologize to anyone who felt I was insensitive about bingeing issues they may have on JUDDD. I have had those urges to overeat on UDs too, knowing the next day was a DD. I have tried to work through it in my own mind and reassure myself that I *could* eat if I got too hungry even on a DD, so that I don't feel that desperation, but I do realize that it's still an issue for some people and especially people with a history of EDs. It's not something that is always easy to overcome, and I never meant to imply that what has worked for me (so far!), would work for everyone.

I am not sure where you've been insensitive, LG, I must have missed it. You are always very supportive and sweet to everyone here? This is the JUDDD section of the board, so I would think many of us here are a bit biased toward the plan working.

Lisa, mine always go away when losing, too. It's not fair!!!

Carly, soooo jealous of your FL vaca!!! Have tons of fun!!!!!

Did some bra shopping this morning at Walmart, but couldn't find anything I liked. I am going to have to break down and go to VS or somewhere for a fitting and just invest in a good one or two. Grrrrr..

On a happier note, I got several pairs of sweatpants for $6 each.......in a size Medium! Okay, they are on the snug side, but with some longish tops I think they'll be fine until I'm a tad bit smaller on the bottom. Which will be very soon, right???

I'm still feeling like "Me? Medium? Huh???"

At 5 inches shorter and 30 pounds heavier, I don't see how that is possible Dawn. Must be different brands. But I'm still claiming my Mediums!

My arms and legs are scrawny compared to my midsection. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they're the same brand. I'm not exactly proportionate these days.
