DD Friday, what's on the menu?
I'm making a batch of Spanish "Rice" and I'll have that all during the day. Can also spoon it over lettuce for a taco salad.
It's just at 500 cals, but very filling so I may not eat all of it.
I use 98% lean ground beef (120 cals per 4oz- 12oz@ 360 cals);
8oz riced frozen cauliflower (40 cals);
6 green onions, chopped (10 cals);
10 chopped green olives (40 cals);
1 packet beef broth (10 cals);
4T home made pico de gallo (or 4T your favorite salsa)(20-30 cals)
chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
Brown beef and onions, breaking up well as it cooks.
Add the rest of the ingredients and heat through.
To make this into a soup, add additional seasonings and water or beef broth.

509 calories and 56 g protein. May add more if I'm hungry. It's already been one of those days and it's not even 8:00 a.m.!

DH wanted breakfast out.
LC: 2 eggs, 1 Canadian bacon, 2 tbs. Hollandaise sauce
3 coffee with 2 tbs. HWC
Homemade chicken stock with celery, Shirataki noodles
a few carrot shreds. Salad with some Walton dressing
Nothing but liquids so far, and I feel like I need something solid soon.:faint: :D Having a seasoned chicken breast in about an hour--baking now, and will do some brussel sprouts on the stove to go with it.:yummy: Will end the day at around 500. :)
I'm hungry today. I'm also playing around with my numbers and may try something a little different, based on the Spike Diet. We will see. Maybe a JUDDD/Spike hybrid. I'm so fickle!
