Having to Change my WOE
Blood sugar readings have not been good. I need to go back to
LC right away. My UPP and DD's require this.

LoCarbGal 09-17-2013 10:08 PM

That's disappointing Barbo - I'm sorry to hear that! You will stay JUDDD too, or are you going straight LC? I hope you'll be around. I would miss you if you really left us! :hugs:

Carly 09-18-2013 03:43 AM

Same question as Carol? I hope you will still be juddding and hanging out with us!

LiLi914 09-18-2013 03:47 AM

Well that's a bummer Barbo. I hope you stick around the board and I'm going to think positive thoughts.

Fluffy_Bunny 09-18-2013 04:59 AM

Oh Barbo. It's good that you picked up on it early. I hope you stay with us and switch to a LC JUDDD lifestyle. :hugs:

elphie124 09-18-2013 05:18 AM

Hope to still see you around!

zipp2play 09-18-2013 05:20 AM

OH that is a bummer! Hope you are able to do rotations just following LC. If you do follow rotations and LC, maybe initially allow a little extra on DD's for the adjustment?

Librarygirl 09-18-2013 06:24 AM

I will echo the others and say I hope you can still do JUDDD along with LC. We would miss you! Good job on finding out what you need to do. :)

Flutter 09-18-2013 06:27 AM

How frustrating! It is good that you found out and can monitor now, though!

sorenkkg 09-18-2013 03:37 PM

Jumping in to agree with everyone! Please don't leave us, we love having you around! :D

will you be doing JUDDD LC style? I do that often, and that's what I love about ADF-- you can eat *whatever* you want-- and if you want it to be LC and SF, that totally works.

Hope your numbers turn around asap! :hugs:

Barbo 09-18-2013 04:08 PM

Thank you all...
You are such good friends.

I am going to try a LC JUDD...why not?
Today would be a DD and I'm not certain how to plan my meals, but
I'm going to give it a go.

B: Home made Kefir made with LC milk and a cup of half and half. 90 cal.
don't know the carb count though.

L: 2 chicken wings
Salad no dressing
Chicken broth with sprouts,cilantro,mint

D: 2 egg scramble with melted cheese
1/2 Polish sausage
Spinach and ricotta balls.

S: 1/3 c. kefir
tea with cream for late evening

Librarygirl 09-18-2013 04:29 PM

That sounds delicious Barb!!:yummy: I'm sure you can make this work.

KeirasMom 09-18-2013 04:38 PM

Fantastic menu, and I think it'll be wonderful if you can combine JUDDD with LC, even if you need a little bit higher DDs. Keep us posted!

Go Barbo go!

Sirtain 09-19-2013 06:35 AM

I find Down Days even EASIER when I am low-carb. I hope it works that way for you.

LoCarbGal 09-19-2013 07:21 AM

Low carb DDs are the best! Less volume, yes, but way more appetite satiety for me. I'm so glad you'll be sticking around Barbo!

RebeccaLatham 09-19-2013 05:56 PM

I do low carb JUDDD. Totally doable. I do it to control my blood sugar.

Hooray! my blood sugar was only 100 right before bedtime. So my LC day worked
well for me. Today was DD but I had to attend a memorial service out on Coronado
Island, and we had to drive both ways within this one day. So my eating was not
as good today as yesterday. I managed by just eating cheese slices, some crudités,
water, a few grapes and home to turkey meatloaf slice, green beans and tomato.
While not perfect it was ok. I'm pooped and going to be early, like right now.

Nighty nite, see everyone tomorrow. Medium day but I think I'll lower it a bit.

sorenkkg 09-20-2013 09:26 PM

I knew it would work!

LoCarbGal 09-20-2013 10:24 PM

Good news Barbo! I'm glad it's as simple as controlling your carbs and doesn't require meds or anything more drastic.

RebeccaLatham 09-21-2013 06:49 AM

Librarygirl 09-21-2013 06:53 AM

Fantastic news! I'm planning to have my blood sugar and cholesterol checked in Oct. at our annual Health Benefits day at work. Curious about both, as I haven't had them checked in years.

Carly 09-21-2013 04:54 PM

I'm so glad the low carb is helping!

Kissa 09-22-2013 10:27 AM

So pleased that it is working out for you Barbo, it wouldn't be the same here without you.

Kimmietoo 09-24-2013 07:03 PM

Yay! I am delighted to hear that you are being successful w/ LC JUDD.

I do soooooooo much better when I do LC Judd. Better weight loss...better appetite control...better glucose readings...better mood! It works for me, too. And for me, the nice part is that I can have a LC UUAD and the impact is not even close as dramatic as a carby UUAD.

Plus, and this is a biggie....the SIRTs stay with us!

What's not to like?

So delighted for you! So happy for all of us that you are here with us!!
