UD Wednesday - plans?
 
My thoughts and prayers go out to those that lost loved ones on 09/11/01 :heart

B - 2 eggs, waffle 255c
S - tomato/cottage cheese (or strawberry cottage cheese) 65c or 90c
L - tomato/cauli/snap pea/pepper salad with chicken 350c
S - protein granola bar 190c
D - I am thinking Breakfast?? Not sure, I have 2 meetings to get to tonight!
I have 1000c for dinner and beyond! That should work!

might have a snack if I'm hungry which I doubt I will be, eating high fat and very low carbs is killing my hunger! Which is good :)

Joining Mike on low-carb today after a botched DD yesterday with cheddar popcorn. :)

B: bacon and eggs
L: CC/GY/PP mix and salad
D: hamburgers and tomatoes
Chicken drums for snack if hungry.

I'm not sure why I just found this out, but my Truvia says it has 3 carbs per packet! I always thought they were zero carbs.

Does anyone have any info on this? Are they magical carbs that don't count or do I count them?

Ok, I guess I found an answer. Apparently the carbs come from Erythritol which does not get digested and just passes through so they don't count. Still makes me paranoid!

Sad that I'm scared of 3 carbs!

Mike, when I was low carb I was super-stingy with my carbs. I would never use packets of sweeteners because the bulking agent had carbs. I ended up getting EZ-Sweetz (liquid sucralose) and I really like it. I still use it to sweeten my NF Greek yogurt on DDs. I don't have an issue with artificial sweeteners though, and some can't or choose not to use the liquid sucralose.

I've been using Truvia forever and haven't had any issues that I know of from it. It was just a shock to look at the label and see 3 carbs and think that I have been getting an extra 6-9 carbs a day without counting them. I'm really trying to make this ketosis thing work and the thought that I was unintentionally adding carbs freaked me out for a second.

By the way I have been in ketosis for just over a week and it seems to really be zapping away at the belly fat that is left. I'm going to be keeping at this for a while hoping to get rid of it all.

Yay for ketosis!

I had 2 slices of cold meatloaf(my favorite way to have it), 3 chicken wings, and the last of the greens for breakfast. I need to make another batch this weekend.

I think lunch will be fish, and dinner is going to be porkchops and cucumber salad.

I am hoping to stay AWAY from any treats today. I think I've been indulging a little too often. I can always have something on Friday.
