LoCarbGal 09-01-2013 10:27 AM

I did a whole bunch of crunches and pulleys this morning in my FIRM workout, Kismet, so we can have sore abs together tomorrow!

KeirasMom 09-01-2013 12:14 PM

I went boot shopping and bought some cute high heeled boots. That counts, right? Oh, also Keira and I raced on the Wii Fit. She won, but my thighs are a bit sore!

Yes, but I can only keep that pace up for 15 minutes or so. I use to run a mile and a half in 7 minutes. I'd like to get back to a 6 minute mile if possible.

Hi everyone! :hiya:

My exercise goals for September are to workout at least every other day. I plan to keep my emphasis on weights, but my HRM tells me I am getting cardio benefits too since my heart rate gets going. Goal #2 (not exercise, but important) is to continue using my standing desk every work day for several hours.

9/1 - rest
9/2 - (gym) 45 min weights + 10 minutes high incline treadmill - 467 cals
9/3 - rest / ? hours standing desk

9/1 - 76 minutes of weight lifting, 703 calories
9/2 - 3.67 mile walk, 410 calories
9/3 - 60 minutes of weight lifting, 565 calories
9/4 - 1 mile run at 5.5 mph (to see if I could) and then 45 minutes of weight lifting, 581 calories

It is just under a week and a half until the 5k color run so I wanted to see if I could keep a moderate pace for at least a mile without walking. I could have gone longer but was short on time and needed to hit the weights. I'll try on Saturday morning to see if I can do 3.1 miles without walking.
