Gonner I just zoodled about 6 zucchini I had in my produce drawer lol.
I let the zoodles drain in a colander for about an hour, then wrap the whole bunch in triple layer of paper towels, then pop that in a gallon size zipper baggie with the zipper half open and refrigerate.
They stay fresh about 4-5 days that way

Dottie, thanks for that description of your zoodles. I have struggled with zucchini ribbons in the past - they start to leak their moisture so quickly that it has wrecked my delicious marinated salads. I think your technique will totally save the day!

I have been really struggling lately keeping my calories in control. In fact not so much struggling as failing. I think it's PMS oriented (excuses, excuses) but today I'm re-dedicating myself to control.

B: Iced tea, iced coffee
L: Coffee/HWC
D: Deli ham

Target: 400 or less

Hope you're feeling better Carol.

Coffee w/splash of almond milk
B/L: Roadside lemonade PP w/greek yogurt + frozen blueberries (18+12=30 g P) ~ 150
PM snacks: Turkey lettuce wraps x 2 (24 g P) + fr. onion laughing cow ~ 150
D: Broiled lean hamburger and salad (30-35 g P) ~ 400

About 700 but I want to see the protein g closer to 100 so might have another small PP + yogurt dose.

oh! Thank you for that info! I've been making my spiralized zucchini fresh each night, but would be dryer your way for sure.

Thanks JJ! I'm feeling good and motivated today. I'm going to rock this DD!

Barbo, hang in there! I know what you mean about a couple of failed days. That's how I've been feeling too. But I'm going to refuse to call it a fail because we are still here and trying our best. You rock lady! Don't forget that!

I'm having trouble restarting JUDDD so I'm beginning at 45% (796 cals). I'm honestly quite embarrassed to post this on the DD forum but I'm hoping to ease back into the JUDDD mindset.

Lunch: Cucumbers with a tiny bit of ranch (50), baked chicken (170), baked whiting (100)
Dinner: Grilled chicken - 2 (250 calories), tofu fried rice (200 calories)

Don't be embarrased, Spoon. Some of the JBs still do 700-800 calorie DDs. Sometimes I do too. Sounds like a satisfying and healthy menu!

Spoon
Shoot, most DD's I'm at 600-650 lol.
I know from past experience I tend to lose better at that level.
I plan for the 500, but I don't beat myself up if I go over a bit

Spoonful - now you have to stay with the "high DD women"! The lowest I've got was one day at 460 I think and while I admire those who can do it, I'm too wimpy! And the higher DD helps keep the cravings under control I think, especially in the beginning. And it works like a charm (or it does for me) if you go higher protein like you are. Hey, if I can avoid potato chips (my personal food nemesis) on an up day, there's something miraculous going on.

Glad to see you here.

Thanks Carol and Cindy

I came in a bit higher than planned but at least I brought it home.

One more bit of cream for my tea tonight and I'm finished.

Tomorrow regular UP day but I am keeping my eye on myself
not to stray by keeping it mainly LC.

You made it! Tomorrow will be funner.

I had an unexpectedly stressful and conflicted family situation this evening and didn't want to eat much. I think this has been my lowest DD ever at 253. All is pretty much resolved now, so on to a good controlled UD tomorrow.
