DD Saturday Menus :)
D: not sure, taking son back to school so we may stop off somewhere, will opt for grilled chicken and salad and take my walden farms dressing with me
S: tilapia cooked w/tomatoes and green onions; sliced cucumbers
Throughout day as needed: more coffee, broth, tea, diet A&W with a little creamer
D: smoked pork tenderloin with veggies and maybe a little cheese on top.
L: Large peach
D: Large green salad with 3 oz deli ham and Greek feta dressing
Total: 450 or under
Breakfast - 10% cream in coffee
Lunch - roast chicken + salad
Snack - greek yogurt + roadside lemonade PP + frozen blueberries + cucumber and/or tomatoes and pumpkin seeds
Dinner - shrimp alfredo w/lots of broccoli
4 oz glass of wine.
It's about 7-800. Still having appetite suppression issues and having problems getting all of the UD calories in. I tried going higher fat (chicken wings, pumpkin seeds etc.) and it just killed my appetite even worse. Hmm. It might be that I'm in ketosis? I have some of the other symptoms but thought that I was eating enough carbs on up days to not be (about 100-150g?). When I've done strict low carb in the past and had a re-feed day/window (5 hours or ~ 2 meals) or "free meal" or no kind of re-feed but just went a little crazy eating off plan every couple of weeks, I appeared to not go out of ketosis at all (always pink and sometimes deep purple). I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Maybe this is normal and will go away over time and I'll wish it was back.
I just plum failed today....
