Instead of UD-DD-UD-DD it's 5 normal days and 2 fasting (or 500 cal) days a week -I believe.

Ideally, they are not consecutive. But you can pick any days you like!

Makes me think I'm better off to stay UP DD...the rotation feels right
this way. I know this may sound silly, but I look forward to DD's.

I too look forward to dd. I always feel like I go overboard on ud. I feel the need to change the dd and call it a clean day.I don't feel denied if I call it clean. I know it sounds silly but it's all in how we feel about our worlds huh?

I do 5:2. I couldn't take the alternate day schedule. It was really messing with my mind.
I try to strive for 3 fasts a week, but doing only 2 is ok too. My results have been very similar to JUDDD, and I like the flexibility I have.

That is fantastic! I maintain effortlessly on 5:2, but will not lose an ounce! It's a good thing I don't mind DDs (I actually really like them).

I like the "healing day" thing. It is how I feel. I need at least 3 a week but if I can control the rest of my days 3 should be enough. We will see as we go along. My journey has not gone smoothly But I will keep trying. I am going to find out this week if my thyroid is being a problem I have such muscle weakness and stiffness I probably have 9 out of 10 symptoms so we will see. It would be nice to lose instead of gaining..I have never had this trouble and it is frusterating Wish me luck the day is Wensday

Good luck! Thyroid problems are no fun. Make sure they test more than just TSH. Ask for Free T3 and Free T4 at least, if you haven't had those checked.
